I made reservations for August 9, 2020 @8pm for our 1st year wedding anniversary. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45pm we were greeted and showed to our table rather quickly and the host was very nice. Seconds after being sat at our table our waitress comes to us and introduced herself then we get bread and water. This is where it goes down hill. So let me start by painting a picture there’s a table of two in front of us, another table of 4 behind me to my left and another couple that arrived 10 minutes after us sitting in front of us but to my left. So after the first initial visit from our waitress never came back to check on us or take any other order. She visited the table right in front of us three times before they got their check and still at that point passed us by and never acknowledge us nor even tried to check on us. So at this point the table in front of us has left and also the table behind us has left. At this point 30 minutes has passed since we sat down and our waitress has yet to come back to us. Now the table that got there after us has already received their drinks and appetizers. Another 15 minutes has passed and our waitress is still MIA. Now the table in front of me to my left has received their main course and yet my wife and I are still with bread and water. At this point my wife is calming me down because I’m very upset due to now this restaurant and staff has ruined our special dinner of our 1 year wedding anniversary and to make it even worse my wife starts tearing. After we hit the 1 hour mark I got up with my wife and left in disgust and a ruined romantic dinner with my wife. I was asked by the host if everything was ok and I expressed my disgust and disappointment of the service and the extreme lack of customer service and attention, to which all she said was “I’m sorry”. About an hour later I received a call from the restaurant apologizing and offering a 100% free dinner service for the next night but unfortunately we do not live in Florida so that was not possible since we were also leaving the next morning. Unfortunately, the memory that we are taking from this restaurant and for our 1st year wedding anniversary has left a very bitter and disgustful...

Let me begin with this: I walked in looking like a semi-dehydrated Florida tourist and walked out feeling like I had just closed a billion-dollar deal on Wall Street. 💼🕶️
🥂 Ambiance: This place is so fancy, I’m 93% sure the walls are whispering compliments. “You look incredible.” “Your credit score just went up.” “Your ex is definitely watching your glow-up.” The lighting? Soft enough to hide your bad decisions but bright enough to see your scallops glisten. Goals.
🍷 The Drinks: I ordered a dirty martini and it arrived looking like James Bond personally shook it and whispered, “Live your best life.” Sipped it once, and suddenly my vocabulary expanded and I started pronouncing “Naples” with a European accent. 🇫🇷🍸
🦐 The Food: The shrimp cocktail came out on a bowl of ice that looked like Poseidon himself blessed it. The steak? Cooked so perfectly I briefly considered proposing to it. And the lobster mashed potatoes? I literally saw a grown man cry at the next table. Real tears. Real flavor. 💔🍽️
💁♂️ The Staff: The service here is smoother than a jazz saxophone solo on silk sheets. 🎷 Our waiter had the timing of a Swiss watch and the charm of a Netflix rom-com lead. By the end of the night, I was ready to name him in my will. 👨⚖️📜
💸 The Price: Let’s just say… you won’t find a BOGO here. But honestly? I’d sell a kidney and a gently used Peloton for that truffle mac & cheese. Worth every penny and all future therapy sessions for how much I now crave their sea bass. 🐟🤑
🎉 Final Thoughts: Ocean Prime isn’t just dinner. It’s an experience.
A delicious, dazzling, “I need to come back with a better outfit” kind of experience. 10/10 would eat here again… possibly in disguise so they don’t see how...
Read moreTook my dad to Ocean Prime for a special occasion after hearing about it online, and boy we were not disappointed.
The setting is beautiful , we were seated next to a window with a great view on a little cozy plaza surrounded by tall tress wrapped in light garlands. The tall ceiling and open windows made it so it wasn’t too noisy despite being near full capacity and made us feel cozy.
Service was quick and efficient. We always felt taken care of and the waiting staff had great banter. I’m personally not a fan of the “remove your plate as soon as you lift up your last bite” but it is the norm here in America…
Cocktails were visually stunning and generously dosed. The wine selection was extensive and has something for everyone, as long as you are a fan of Italian or American grape varieties.
For starters we had some spicy shrimp sushis and crab cakes, which were both great and without unnecessary fuss. You could tell the produce was fresh and the seafood was never overcooked.
We followed with ribeyes steaks cooked to perfection accompanied by sautéed mushrooms and creamed bacon spinach. The meat was of AAA quality and I recommend to enjoy it without sauce if you, like me, belong to the carnivorous family.
We finished with some Crème Brûlées to satisfy our sweet teeth.
The complimentary valet was a nice touch to make the night hassle free.
Overall dining at Ocean Prime is a wonderful and easy to recommend experience if you pass through Naples. The menu was not particularly creative but everything was delivered with care and attention to detail. The portions were very generous (perhaps even a bit too much) so I would recommend lunching light on that day. Will definitely be back next time...
