I would like to give a half star. This restaurant is on my way into Nashville and I was very excited when they opened. D&D and BR are my hands down favorite guilty pleasures. We had a DC in MJ and Old Hickory but I would drive to Donelson to the BR as I was growing up and later on for my kids. I would drive to Murfreesboro Road for the best cake donuts in town, D&D.
When I first tried the D&D here, I was disappointed that the donuts were cold in the center -they are made fresh, right...Time to make the Donuts??? Not here. I tried on three separate occasions, thinking it was a fluke. Okay scratch this D&D off the list of restaurants. Believe me when picking up donuts for the office there are plenty of other guys on the way to work.
The second one was harder to give up on...ICE CREAM [Think Eddie Murphy]. Two days after grand opening, Green Mint Chocolate Chip in a cup please. "we don't have any," was the reply. What? This is considered by BR to be a classic since 1948. Okay, I will spare you how many times in two years I have been turned away but I was successful a few times (not many). Most of the time I started with the drive through but ended up buying a half pint from the customer cooler.
This BR is just bad. The staff is not rude, in fact they seem very nice. But they seem very, very, clueless. They are just matter of fact.Don't have it, we don't have that out, or whatever reason and then nothing. What happened to customer service? How about, "I'm sorry we don't have any, I will talk to our manager and see when the order comes in and we will order more so we can supply this to our customers," [it is obviously popular, duh]. If you routinely cannot keep up with demand or unwilling to supply a product, how long will you be in business?

Read moreThis is absolutely the worst Dunkin’ Donuts I’ve ever ordered from. So today at 2:00-2:30ish I ordered from Dunkin’ Donuts through grubhub and when I received the order more than half of my items were missing. So I called up there to see if some of the food items weren’t available or if I had got the wrong order so I could just have my boyfriend pick it up on his way home. I called like 5 or 6 times and got hung up on twice.
Then when I finally got ahold of somebody I had first let them know that my entire order was wrong then they told me that I was wrong because the only thing that I didn’t get was my hash browns and she felt that adding an extra yellow cheese sausage wrap (definitely not the turkey sausage wrap with white cheese that I ordered) would be good enough. Then I let her know that I didn’t have my lemon loaf cake and she straight up told me that I never ordered one in the first place when I clearly did! I was looking at my receipt while I was on the phone!
Then she hung up on me! I am absolutely disappointed in the way that this Dunkin’ Donuts staff presents themselves and how they present the company. I would’ve even liked if I was able to have the option to even get a remake of my order but after I had called back she said that I would need to just cancel my order as if it never arrived when in fact it did. And even if I was to do that it would cause the grubhub driver to get in trouble and they aren’t the ones at FAULT.

Read moreI don’t normally write reviews but my experience at this Dunkin’ Donuts warrants one. I came here on my way to a nice day at the lake to grab an iced coffee and what should have been a 5 minutes max stop turned into 40 minutes. I went inside to order because I know drive thrus can take a while. I should never have stopped. No one at this location had any idea what they were doing. 5 people behind the counter and there was no clear flow of operations, everyone walking around wringing their hands, starting and stopping tasks, going up to the one girl who seemed who have a small idea of what to do and repeatedly asking the same questions/fulfilling half of her request (she asked a guy for large iced macchiato with caramel, guy comes back with a large cup with ice and just milk so he has to go and get the caramel etc) and then have to go back and forth with the same directive to finally get the order right. Someone was waiting in the drive thru for over 5 minutes before one of the staff finally noticed. After waiting and watching others who had ordered after me get their food I finally asked what was up with my one medium iced latte and the girl finally started it, and brought me the milkiest coffee I’ve ever tasted. I had to specifically ask her for more coffee. I ended up being 40 minutes late to my plans, will not be...
