I recently visited P.F. Chang's with my husband, and overall, it was a solid experience. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server was kind and made sure our order was taken care of promptly. We started with the shrimp dumplings, which were a highlight—very flavorful and satisfying. For appetizers, we ordered egg rolls because they were out of spring rolls, and while they were good, they weren’t anything special. For the main course, we tried the teriyaki chicken with upgraded fried rice. The chicken itself was flavorful and cooked well, but the fried rice was a bit of a letdown. It was very bland and lacked seasoning, which made it feel unbalanced compared to the rest of the meal. We also decided to try warm sake, but unfortunately, it tasted like rubbing alcohol—definitely not the quality I was expecting. It had a very cheap, off-putting flavor, which was disappointing. All in all, it was a decent experience with a few hits and misses. I would definitely return for the dumplings and the chicken, but I would skip the sake next time.

What was I thinking? The fams wanted to go here because it was late and PF Changs was where we were at. I normally try to go local vs. chains when out. It had been a while since I went to PF Changs. I ordered the hot and sour soup and white rice with teriyaki chicken. Soup was too salty for my taste buds. The teriyaki chicken was more like sweet and sour chicken, but hey, each their own. Good try on a rendering (in my opinion and taste) of a classic dish, but it is the chefs recipe. The chicken was battered, sauce with thick consistency of peanut butter, and the plethora of pineapple made it more sour than sweet. For others, it might be good, just not for me. I'm checking this meal off as I do not repeat this mistake.

I’m keep it short: did the 3 entree deal. Got the salad and soup and we didn’t finish the soup cause it tasted like dog food. Salad was ok. Pork dumplings were supposed to be with chili sauce which I figured would a had some sort of heat or kick. Entrees were solid, both had fried rice which was also good. Drinks orders were taken at the start by hostess I think and came a good half hour later. Although they took mad long, they were the best part. Extremely low sense of urgency with the service. We were half done with our drinks before orders were taken, and long finished before the food came. We got the key lime pie and was not what we expected 😭

7/29/25 was one of the most embarrassing food experiences we've had in a long time. When I say embarrassed I am referring to my embarrassment for an establishment in the Food Service Industry. Here is the experience; found a fly in our food and the person responsible for the establishment (we normally label this person the manager Jesse) today had this response: "it was just a fruit fly"! I would call that more supervisory skills than management. No apology which I guess he was just committed to being average in how he dealt with this. Yes in 2025 that was the response..."it was just a fruit fly!" Our food was served without eating utensils and THEY waited until our rice was cold to get them to our table. I wonder how basic silverware is in the food service industry? Let me tell you if ever want to experience lazy go to place where they don't bring you silverware but you have your food. The young lady waiting on us is who really I feel bad for. I don't know her story but she chose to work somewhere in which part of her compensation comes from making sure she has satisfied customers. This place has such low standards and this young lady was ill prepared. I feel so sorry for someone who works for tips and they are not trained properly on what is takes to maximize those opportunities to its fullest capacity (it's not hard to teach all you have to do is care about it). Nevermind that this is my daughters birthday because one extremely poor experience can't spoil that for her or us. I just hate that she chose that location. I have actually told my family let's not eat in that area because they have lowered the standards over the years. I have stated I would never eat at that restaurant in that location. Let's go to Franklin or the Downtown area they care about their brand and have higher standards. So I'm sure it will be a lesson learned for her. Best of luck to those of you who expect this place to provide you a great experience on a special day. My only hope now is that their AI generated response to this is capable of processing how bad things really are at this location hopefully they worry more about that than...

What happened to this place? This was our 3rd visit since this new location opened, and we go out of our way driving 25 minutes to get here. I immediately noticed the music was louder than normal, making for difficult conversation, (which the primary reason most people go out to dinner, as it’s intended to be a social experience.) Although many tables were available, we waited 10 minutes due to short staffing we were told. The waitress initially seemed as if she would be great as she was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. It took a long time to get a Prosecco and a beer, but appetizers (Dynamite Shrimp and Vegetable Spring Rolls) came out on time and were both very good. We waited nearly an hour to receive our main courses of Spicy Shrimp (no taste) and Orange Shrimp (very good) and the waitress never appeared during this time to check on us. We asked the server who cleared our appetizer plates for a second round of drinks, which came fairly quickly. Our original waitress spent considerable time at two other tables of 5-6 people where birthdays were being celebrated. She appeared to be the bubble machine operator as Happy Birthday was being sung. After completing our meal, it took another 25-30 minutes to finally get our check after having to stand up to get the attention of our waitress. The blame here goes entirely on an apparently non-existent manager who should have seen what was going on in the room. All of this was fixable, but perhaps it could be that the restaurant location in Opry Mills suffers from a tourist-business attitude of (we will never see you again anyways), because that’s what it felt like. It will be a very long time before we visit again, giving local management time to fix this...

I dined here for lunch on 19JUN2025. When we first arrived it wasn’t too busy but that changed very quickly within to 10-15 minutes, and I’m understanding of a place being busy. I know service may be delayed ,along with food wait times Etc.

I ordered the lunch special , hot and sour soup for the starter, white rice for the base and Chang’s spicy chicken I believe it was called for the entree.

Our server Yanni was very inattentive from the start it seemed like. Whether this was intentional or unintentional I don’t know. We weren’t given straws initially with our drinks, we request them. We waited 10 minutes, I grab some straws by the bar. After this it seems like she tried to check in with us as little as possible. We get our Hot and spicy soup, which is the only thing I think I enjoyed. Eventually our food is brought out by a different server. I don’t see Yanni again until my bill is due, no refill , no “how is the food?” Nothing. Along with the fact I got fried rice when I ordered white rice. The rice was bland and not flavorful for fried rice. The chicken tasted like watered down sauce was used on it, which I didn’t even think was a thing until now. The food just wasn’t good along with the service . Now I only came here for lunch when it was packed out , and maybe it’s better at dinner. But as for what I experienced this is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. I have no idea how they manage to...
