On 8/5/23 my fiancé and I visited the Zales store in Opry Mills Mall in Nashville with the sole purpose of purchasing her engagement ring (we shopped the other jewelry stores in that Mall as well that afternoon). When we walked into the Zales in question we were greeted quite rudely by 2 young ladies who worked there. Eventually one came over to the counter where we had spotted a potential engagement solitaire diamond ring. We asked to see the ring and before pulling it out of the glass case, the employee very rudely says "this ring is $12,000". We didn't ask how much it was so I'm guessing she judged our appearance and assumed we couldn't afford it or maybe something about us rubbed her the wrong way. The employee did pull the "$12,000'" ring out of the case for my fiancé to look at and try on but by that point my fiancé and I were so disgusted by the employee's unprofessionalism that we just looked at each other and walked out of the store without continuing to shop. I decided at that point to take her to a "Stand Alone" store as opposed to an Outlet Store in some Mall hoping for a better experience for her. We did go to Jared a few minutes away where we had a totally and much better experience and did order/purchase a ring there that afternoon. We were treated with respect at Jared and we left feeling great about our decision. You get what you pay for! Message to the manager of Zales; you may feel free to contact us, question/train your employees about proper etiquette and look at the store's camera/footage that day to see what went wrong at this...
Read moreThe Worst customer service experience of my lilfe. FRANK the manager needs to rethink the way he does business. Works half days, says he will be in one day and never shows up. We asked them to redisgn my grandmothers wedding ring and band, they ruined it, by not making it an exact replica. When we told him it was wrong, he wanted to charge us more money to fix their mistake. We needed the ring resized as well, he made us a promise date that we would have it back in the store by a certain day as he would go pick it up himself and have it there for pick up. Of course Frank did not have the ring ready because although he looked us in the eye and told us he would have the ring in the store 2 days later as he was working and would pick it up himself, he chose not to work again that day. We had to call corporate in order to get the ring overnighted to the store so we would have it back in time. I get companies make mistakes and things happen, the issue is the lack of concern for his customers and the lack caring that he and is jewler screwed up a customers wedding ring, that also happens to be a heirloom. Caring just a little goes a long way in the customer...
