0 stars for customer service!! Found this place on Yelp and decided to try this place because of the reviews.
If the owner of this restaurant see this review, I hope you will reconsider the person you hired and have him removed immediately. The worker who "helped" bring out the food as ZERO empathy for their customers. I don't even know how to make this story short.
When our sushi order showed up, the guy handed the plate in the middle for someone to grab. My sister tried to grab the plate but he ended up tilting the plate and WHOLE roll rolled off into my sister HOT miso soup that had also just came out. The soup ended up spilling all over my sister's lap and my niece's leg! The worker showed NOOO emotion or remorse! He stood there for 10 seconds. No reaction. Nothing. My sister obviously stopped reaching for the plate as she was trying to wipe away the soup and the rolls. After my other sister grabbed the plate, he just stood there and said "I'll get a napkin" ..... what bothered me the most was that he didn't even try to apologize. Afterwards, he came back and gave us only 5 napkins which that wasn't enough for a full bowl of soup. We asked for more napkins then came back with a few more.. then walks away never came back. Still no apology "I'm sorry" " are you ok" NOTHING!!! Other then (I'll get a Napkin)
We informed our original waiter and told him what happened and said he will talk to the MANAGER. I also asked him that I do not want him to serve us our food anymore because he had ZERO empathy. No apologies or anything at all.
At this point our table was full of dirty napkins from my sister trying to clean herself off. There was still spilled soup and sushi on the floor and no one bothered to help clean it up durning our stay.
We asked a worker that was walking by if we could get someone to help clean it up. He said yeah sure, and minutes passed and still no one came back.. multiple times he even walked passed us and no one came.
We called another employee and asked if we could speak to the MANAGER. She said "we don't have a manager here today." My sister then asked if there was anyone we could speak to, maybe even a supervisor. The Supervisor came by and we inform her to let her know we were not feeling comfortable staying here any longer and told her the situation and we just wanted to leave. Told her about the liability issue with the soup and food on the floor that hasn't been picked up and no one came to clean it up even after letting someone else know. And yet still no sign of (spill on aisle 1). My young niece could have slipped and fall if we didn't notice the sushi was still on the floor. We still paid our bill and even tipped! She knocked off a few $ off our bill but that wasn't going to solve anything. We just wanted a good experience since it was our first time there.
They missed some of my order and that same guy that served us before that tipped the plate, came back with our missing plate. He handed it over waiting for someone to grab it again. I grabbed the plate this time and still no sign of "I'm sorry" , "are you ok" , "please, let me take these dirty napkins on your table and I'll pick up this mess on the floor so you can enjoy the rest of your meal".
We really wanted to enjoy this place, but the service made it sooo difficult to even try. The supervisor asked us if we wanted anything else. Any more soups, rolls, other food, any desserts, even drinks. We did NOT want any more food because what's the point of getting more food if we're still going to be treated poorly! What if someone spits in our food!? We didn't even do anything. We just wanted good quality and friendly service and to be acknowledged. The supervisor kept insisting. We really didn't want to stay...
