If you are from NYC or the Tri-state Area DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE. The pizza tastes NOTHING like NY pizza and you will be both disappointed and disgusted. The overall food quality here is just getting progressively worse. They must've changed their marinara recently because it used to be okay and now is just water with tomato chunks and is completely flavorless. Our pasta was literally sopping wet with some tomato chunks floating on it. Completely inedible. This location has made several mistakes with our orders and with overcharging us and they did so again a few days ago. We placed the order electronically as to avoid any possible communication mistakes and they still got it wrong (it was a small order for 2 people). When my husband went to pick it up they gave him a HUGE attitude bc he paid with American Express (they complained that AE charges them higher fees than Visa and asked him to look in his wallet for another card or cash). On top of that, even though we had paid online, they rang it up again and threw in extra charges (besides incorrectly preparing the order). Unfortunately my husband didn't notice until he got home.

Don't waste your money here. I had a few bites of my pizza and eggplant parm and am throwing both out. It's not even worth the effort of a phone call to complain (again) about the poor service and poor quality nor is it worth the gas to return the food or have them credit our account for the overcharge.

You will regret it if you go to this "pizzeria". If you are from NY like we are, trust me: the food at Rocco's NY Pizza...

An absolute DISASTER. NEVER AGAIN.

I ordered 2 extra large pies for my co-workers and used slice to have it delivered. I contacted slice and also have the messages from them stating they called the store to confirm they would cut the pies in smaller pieces hours before the delivery so I could share with everybody. They confirmed the store would have them double-cut. I also requested plates and utensils because we are at work... not only did this order not come with any plates or silverware, but the pizzas were NOT cut and they were absolutely MASSIVE. The extra large pie slices are at least a foot long. It was so big, You could have cut three slices out of it!!! Then, because we had no utensils i had absolutely no way of sharing it with everyone. Not only that, but the person that delivered the food pulled the pizzas out of his trunk and his trunk was filthy covered in all kinds of grime and hair, and he even complained that he had to put it in his trunk. I don't know if they made the pizza with latex gloves or due to the pies being in such a filthy trunk, when I took my first bite, I had an allergic reaction and broke out in hives all over my lips. What an absolute disgusting disaster!!!! I contacted slice about this and they did absolutely nothing to rectify the issue. I'm from New York and i've been going to the roccos on windmill for 5 years since I moved here and i've never had an issue but this location is a disgusting disaster and I will never go here again. What a...

Pizza may be the most subjective food on earth. I've heard it said that there's no such thing as bad pizza. I vehemently disagree with that notion. Some people love New York style and hate Chicago Style and some people love Chicago Style and hate NY. Personally, I say why not both? Sometimes I'm in a NY mood and sometimes I'm in a Chicago mood. When I'm in the right mood, either can be delicious. I can guarantee you that if I ever ask someone who makes their favorite pizza, if they say Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Little Caesars, Poppa John's/Murphy's, etc, they have immediately lost my trust on all culinary recommendations probably forever.

Rocco's looks pretty good. The toppings are OK and the service is friendly. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was good. We ordered some pasta and that was good as well and so were the Zeppolis we ordered for desert. What wasn't good was the pizza crust. The crust must be crispy but chewy. This was not. I would rate it better than the restaurants listed above but not good enough to bring me back at the price they charge. I might stop in for some pasta in the future and I will definitely pick up more zeppolis from time to time but no more pizza. I can get much better crust right down the street and I would rather take the time and money to get something excellent then something that doesn't meet my requirements for...

I’m not sure the AC was working in the restaurant or if they were having cooling issues throughout. It was hot inside. I’m a former Maitre d hotel, professional food preparer, handler, garnechet. (Just clarifying that I know what I’m reviewing here). I was really hoping to find a great little out of the way place for Italian food. I thought I’d begin with something that’s hard to cook incorrectly- ordered clam linguini, a side of tomato mozzarrela salad and the cucumber tomato onion salad. These are standard prep. The salad tasted at least 3 days old. It wasn’t fresh most certainly. The dressing was light vinegarette, not enough oil in the dressing mix. The tomatoes in the mozzarrela salad were beginning to go bad. Soft squishy and the red of the tomato meat was not translucent any more. The clam linguini pasta itself was al dente- perfect. But the sauce was also going bad. I took about three bites and didn’t feel safe eating any more of it. Bad seafood will take you down for days and I didn’t want to chance it. The tiramisu —- was delicious. I brought it home and almost forgot to take a pic. Yum. I am guessing the pizza at Rocco’s is good. Lots of people stopping in for huge pizzas.

We were in the area looking for something new for lunch and came across this pizza spot with great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the place was empty, which gave us a chance to check out the menu at our own pace. There were a couple of pizzas already out on display that looked decent, so we decided to try those along with the fried ravioli. After ordering, we waited about 10 to 15 minutes for our food. Right away, we noticed that the pizzas weren’t made fresh—they took the ones sitting out and reheated them in the pizza oven. Unfortunately, this showed in the taste. The pizza was greasy but lacked any real flavor. As for the fried ravioli, both my wife and I found it disappointing—it tasted terrible, and we couldn't finish it. For a pizza place, you’d expect at least a simple cheese pizza to be a hit, but it just didn’t deliver. While it’s possible we caught them on an off day, the food really missed the mark, especially since we were craving pizza. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and professional, and we appreciate their service. However, the food was a letdown, which is why we had to deduct stars from this review.
