I've seen a few of the other reviews and I'm happy for those that have given this location a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, we did not recieve that kind of great service or those beautiful plates with all the plentiful food on them. We are not from New Braunfels. As enjoying ourselves we hadn't eaten dinner and happened to stop at this particular Panda Express, this happened at approximately an hour or hour and a half before closing, seemed alittle chaotic. However, payed no attention to what was going on prior to our arrival. When we were almost up I happened to look at the food displayed and there was 4 pots already empty but still in the warmer. Thinking to myself they should be setting out new pots of freshly cooked food any minute. Which they did put 2 different pots in. We go up to order I love the rice, this rice was so dry I knew I probably would be better off ordering the same as my husband the noodles and as this worker looks at me then in the bowl he notices that the bowl is already almost empty. He then turns to the drive thru young lady and says "what am I going to do when there is not anymore". She replies as she's looking at me but facing him "it should be slowing down by now so just tell them it's a 15-20 minute wait, they will usually will order something else". Please keep in mind, there are still customers in line and the drive thru. As she would very often with her no gloves come from the drive thru and snatch the spoon from the server who is serving the dine in customers and proceed to make plates for the drive thru. This made me very upset and angry. I continue to order my food and my side dish was one no longer available. I then ask how long do you think it will be, to another server? His reply "10-15 minutes", he says "we probably will not be making anymore after that. Because if it's not all gone, we will just have to throw it away". I replied to him "don't worry about it I'll just order something else", trying to keep the peace. I understand what in tales with fast food and paying customers but this is so unexceptable! This gentalmen also ordering after us explained that this usually happens to him or his crew when his work brings him to the area. I thanked him for his input. We sat on one of all the dirty tables at this location eating cabbage, celery, a few noodles and orange chicken with a burnt chicken egg roll. I was contemplating on whether or not to write a review I wished I could of shortened the whole cinario but I just could not share my experience at this location and let this continue to happen. I wished I would of taken pictures but I was just so angry I didn't even enjoy my food or have...
Read moreRude as could possibly be. I will start by stating I was there at 1:50 pm on 8/6/2023, a Sunday afternoon. There was nobody else in the drive through when I got there so there was no rush. I spoke to a young boy who constantly called me "sir" even though I am clearly not. I waited for him to take my order because he said they were busy, I guess maybe inside? When he finally came back there was no apology as he asked me what I would like to order. No big deal on that end, I get it, it's a fast food place. But as I said a bowl with honey walnut shrimp he interrupted me to ask for the side, then went to confirm that I said honey walnut shrimp. I shrugged it off even though he repeated the order with the side first. Then I asked for a plate with honey walnut shrimp and he cut me off again before I could get the name of the other entrée part out and asked me for the side once again with a rude tone and a sigh. I mentioned the side and then went back to tell him the other entrée and he then went to confirm the first entrée again like he wasn't listening. Now I really don't care what your POS system is like, but people don't go to a steak house and go "oh ill take a backed potato, oh and with that I would like a ribeye!". The tone, the rudeness, the interruptions were all stuff I could get over, if he wouldn't have kept asking me if I was done, even after I said YES I AM DONE. I had to tell him three times I was done in order for him to tell me to pull forward, and even then I didn't get a price for what I ordered. Reading the other reviews here it all seems to be about your service. The worst part is I tried calling to talk to a manager or at least let yall know maybe your drive through microphone isn't working but nooooooo. Nobody answers any of your phones and your help line made me wait 20 minutes before it auto disconnected. IDK how yall are still...
Read moreWent about 9pm. By looking at selections it looked like they were about to close.(Closing time 11pm)They had only about half the items available on the serving line. I asked if they were putting out more food and they said only if people request it and then if you request it it's 15-minute wait they stated. Then if there was something already available on the line let's say orange chicken while you waited for whatever item else you asked for. The orange chicken ref run out so then it was a never-ending way. This will probably be the last time I ever visit this location. I have never came to a location and that was going on. They told me that they do that an hour before they close but they will close from at 11:00 p.m. they didn't have much group available. Many people had to be waiting for fo some of their food items they would sit down with their partial tray and then the other item would be brought out. Happened with my daughter straight. Also they said they would bring out her chow mein noodles as soon as they were done by the time they brought them out. She had already finished her chicken options they had given. The staff was being friendly but also another issue I didn't like is they were not giving out any receipts and at the moment my phone battery had died so I wasn't even able to try to scan to receiving any points for my purchase on the app so I lost that. Like I said my phone battery died. If not I would have taken pictures at the moment for y'all to see but we went around 9:15 and this happened I don't know. Maybe just avoid it around that time. But the staff was as polite as they could be. Maybe just following the managers...
