Absolutely the best in Texas, honestly I would give it the best I have ever had in a 70 year lifetime. Simply delicious amazing from the very first bite of mushrooms bamboo shoots eggs, yum. We, Mariette and I discovered Pho Na in New Brunfelds some time ago after passing by several times on our way to the Mod Pizza just a few stores near by. Today I wanted to surprise my wife Mariette with a change of our typical cuisine such as Tex-Mex, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Thai, Mediterranean, Greek, true California Style Mexican, Caribbean such as Jamaican Puerto Rican or Haitian Creole. What a delightful surprise to encounter honestly without a doubt from the first spoonful the taste that still lingers on my tastebuds delicious hot and sour soup ever.. Shortly afterwards I was presented my hot Banh Mi Sandwich all nice and cosey in a paper wrap held in tightly with a tiny rubber band. Large bite full of crunchy bun stuffed with pork jalapeño’s carrots cucumber cilantro and dressing. Will not hesitate a day of great food and service see...
Read moreHands down best Asian food in New Braunfels!!!! The new owners/business have totally transformed this spot!
Having tried just about every Asian option in New Braunfels, including the place that was previously here, I have not once been impressed. The previous restaurant was just not very good. We had tried them a few times and the food was meh, service was lacking, the interior was dark and dreary.
I am so happy the new owners/ restaurant have given the place a complete makeover! The decor is bright and cheerful, their food is fresh and flavorful, all of the staff I interacted with were super friendly! I also overheard one of the staff members talking to a customer about how they make their broth from scratch. Totally blown away by how delicious their food is!
We are SO excited this place opened up, and with it being just a few minutes from our house, wow, dangerous combo! Throw all of your money at this place! I know we...
Read moreJust meh. Paid $35 for two dinner meals to-go. Really wasn't anything special. The folks were friendly and all, but the food was meh. Small portions for the price. Overall kinda disappointed. Most of the chicken dish was. .. vegetables. I've had General Tso's at a lot of restaurants. This was the first time I've ever had the dish be prepared with 50-60% vegetables. Maybe 6 pieces of chicken? In the whole dinner size container. It was mostly bell peppers and onions and carrots. The frozen bag of H-E-B General Tso is only $7.99, and honestly... a better sauce and better flavor. I hate to say it. The orange chicken had a good flavor, but again, it was maybe only 8 small pieces of chicken in the dinner size portion. Dumplings were okay. The crab "puff" was good. The Hot and Sour soup was a little off.
I wouldn't recommend the Chinese food here. The Pho might be delicious, but I was out of luck and not willing...
