I went there to visit a friend that had a really rough day.

When we walked up to the bar I order a beer and he ordered one. The bartender asked if it was on one tab. I said I got his first one. She said okay. A little later my friend that had walked off talking to other people, came back and handed me a drink. I said "thank you, you didn't have to do that". He said "I didn't, I put it on your tab". I was like "hmm okay".

I wasn't upset at this point because I did not make it crystal clear.

So when I closed out, I said to the bartender "I am not upset at all, just want to make it clear with communication going forward that I am the only one that is allowed to add drinks to my tab. She said "Okay, I am so sorry about that, do I need to adjust it ". I said" no, don't worry about it this time, no big deal. I am just communicating for future reference". Still all is good. No biggie right. This is when another guy walked up (said it was his bar). He asked if everything was okay? I said "yes, just communicating that some drinks got added to my tab that I did not authorize but not upset this time and (recap of above).". This is when he said "it is my bar and we will do whatever we want and if I have a problem with that then I can leave.". Again I calmly said"There is no problem, I was just saying going forward, I am the only one that can add drinks to my tab ". Again he said" this is my bar and we will do whatever we want and if you don't like that I don't care ".

So end of the story. A customer should never have to worry about an establishment or business adding anything to your bill without your authorization. Actually being a business owner myself, it is illegal.

So if you don't mind going to a place that will do whatever they want and add whatever they want to your tab. Then this is the place for you.

As for as me I will definitely tell everyone I know what happened and how it was handled.

Again it was no big deal this time and not a issue. This so called "THIS IS MY BAR AND WE WILL DO WHATEVER WE WANT!" Made it a issue. My husband and I where i. there this evening, mind you, I've been bartending linger than this girl is old, that being said, i understand working the "sexy angels" but super short spandex that look like you're wearing panties is totally innapropriate for a place that says they are family friendly. at the time of our visit they're where many families in there it or was steak night so I imagine that's a good night for them. I live in the neighborhood and have been here many times before and always knew the kitchen stairs open until 10. Although we where not there to eat was told by both bartenders rather fiercely that the kitchen was closed. it was before 10. Neither of which asked us what we would like to drink. We where informed we would have to order au the bay.

I proceed to the bar where I whitness underwear girl stick a bar towel down her cootching and proceed with waiting on customers as it dangles between her legs.

it has to be the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in the hospitality industry. As A owner of a business I would think it's time to consider 1 if you want to open a seedy Nudy bar where the girls have stretch marks and bullet holes or a family friendly establushnent. Furthermore, overhead the another bartender apolagizing for a kitchen mistake and that "they where paying for the next round of drinks, did they really pay? Or did the owner. from what I we the owner is paying to lose integrity and class as this neighborhood bar has declined in quality of staff, and I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

Really delicious all American 🇺🇸 comfort food with family atmosphere. Sometimes I just crave a really good Salisbury steak smothered in brown gravy with mushrooms and onions, along with a side of mashed potatoes also smothered in brown gravy. And, Hideaway delivered! Just like my Korean Mom used to make! My Dad’s an American from Oklahoma so she learned to cook American food- really well😋 I like that the food wasn’t all spruced up and new fangled, but just delicious traditional style. It really hit the spot! My sons had the burgers and they were really meaty and delicious, too. The tater tots were perfectly cooked, crispy outside and tender inside. The French fries were just ok because they had cooled down by the time we got our order. We also ordered the fried cheese sticks as an appetizer and they were perfectly Yummy, too. My side salad with ranch was fresh and tasted good, nothing special but went well with my entree. Our waitress was super sweet - but she was running her legs off! She just didn’t have enough time to take care of everyone as well as I’m sure she wanted to. But, she did take time to get us change for the Ms Pac-Man which turned out to be broken so she then took the time to get me my money back and also my Diet Coke was FLAT, so she took the time to get me a water. My sons’ sprites weren’t very sweet so I think the syrup was running low on their soda machine but I didn’t tell her because I could see how busy she was. I’m thinking the business is going through a wait staff transition period. Everyone was so kind and working so hard, so I’m sure the slow service due to lack of staffing will be fixed soon.
