THE best espresso you will find in or around New Braunfels, hands down! Whether you want a straight doppio, or one of their amazing lattes with made-from-scratch syrups, this place won't disappoint!
Keep in mind the lattés are lightly sweetened, so you may need to ask for double sweet if you are used to standard café sweetness. I would also highly recommend the Cascade Americano if you are into subtle drinks. They usually have a few different options for pour-overs too. You get about half a carafe full and I had to work my way through like 3 and a half mugfulls! I was very wired afterwards haha! I recommend sharing with someone. It's very similar to a nitro. I have not tried the cocktails so I cannot comment on them but they sound great. Unfortunately they don't have sugar-free options for the lattés but you can order the matcha unsweetend and they have splenda or stevia packets available. (The matcha is great and they even mix it old-fashioned with a mortar and pestle!)
I had been to the original location at Five Stones Brewery only once but it was a great experience and I'd had a lot of fun chatting with the owner, Aaron, about coffee nerd stuff. So I was very excited to hear about this new location opening! It didn't just live up to my expectations from the original location, it surpassed them! The vibes in here are immaculate. I love the record player and their music choice! They recently also started selling vinyls and casettes, and added outdoor seating. The whole place has a retro vibe and they even use lever machines for the espresso! Great decorations too. Everyone is very friendly. I'm glad to see their business thriving!
I could probably gush about this place for another two paragraphs but I will just...
Read moreThis is my new favorite coffee shop in town- by FAR! Their coffee is delicious, and their speciality lattes are seasonal, unique, and so good! They make ALL syrups by hand- including their chocolate, white chocolate, and butterscotch - and it tastes like it. I went 4 different times in a week because I wanted to try several coffees- and even a few cocktails, too. They are one of the few coffee shops close to downtown with good indoor, and outdoor seating. It’s a cool old house with quaint and modern decor (and tons of fun plants propagating in old liquor bottles) with a small covered back porch, and front and side patio areas. Great for solo working, but especially good to connect with a friend. I REALLY enjoyed my coffees from there- but my husband and I stopped for a quick cocktail and both were also spectacularly unique and delish. I LOVE that NB has a new place for a good coffee, or cocktail, meet up! Only place in town like it- truly craft coffee, AND craft cocktails. (Plus wine and beer!) Highly recommend the maple latte, iced white chocolate latte, The Cecilia, and my bourbon coffee drink. Dying to try their espresso martini now! Thank you Kinnor Coffee and...
Read moreThere is truly no place like Kinnor!! I go pretty much every day, and it never gets old! The people who work there are some of the kindest, most intentional humans I’ve ever met in my life! They make you feel seen and welcomed in a way that’s rare. It just feels like home in there. :)
The music is always good, the energy is always right, and it’s just one of those places that makes you feel better the second you walk in. They also make the best matcha in town (even though it’s not on the menu, which it should be because it’s actually delicious !!!!)
The owner is hilarious + so kind!! Talk to him if you get the chance. He’s got the best stories and the most interesting takes on things. And the rest of the team? Just as amazing. Kind, funny, thoughtful, it’s clear they really care about the space they’re creating!!
There’s nothing else like Kinnor!! It’s become such a special part of my routine and I...
