When I heard that a Krispy Pizza was coming to Rutgers, New Brunswick I was ecstatic. I knew immediately that it would steal the top of the best pizza in New Brunswick list having been to the Jersey City location and really enjoyed the pizza there. I can honestly say that the New Brunswick location is the same excellent quality as the Jersey City location. The atmosphere is very much the same with a large mural on the wall and a very Italian cashier. There is more indoors seating in the New Brunswick Krispy Pizza than the Jersey City location, but there is also some outdoor seating available which will definitely get used during the spring and summer months. Parking isn't easy for this location. There are meter spots on Hamilton Street but a majority of the people coming here for lunch will be College Students living in the Yard or on campus for classes. The location is extremely convenient as it is located right across from Scott Hall and next to a major College Ave bus stop.
The margherita slice was absolutely delicious. The sauce is perfect and flavorful and the cheese is fresh and chewy. The crust and bottom of the pizza were extremely crispy (or should I say krispy?). The palermo slice was very filling and combined the delicious Krispy Pizza sauce with perfectly sauteed onions. It was a real treat of the highest quality. Luckily for me, my girlfriend doesn't mind sharing and I managed to grab a bite of her slices. The vodka sauce slice was pleasant with a creamy sauce and good flavor. The plain slice was surprisingly buttery and salty. Not what I expected....but in a good way! The crust and bottom weren't as crispy as the other slices, but this could just be a fluke. Overall, I'm very confident this location will place in the Top 3 for my Rutgers Power Ranking...if...
Read moreI recently visited Krispy Pizza in New Brunswick, NJ, and it was a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a lively and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and eager to ensure you have a great dining experience.
The pizza at Krispy Pizza is truly something special. The crust is perfectly crispy, living up to the restaurant's name, yet it maintains a delightful chewiness that balances each bite. I tried their pepperoni pizza, and the combination of the zesty, well-seasoned sauce, ample cheese, and generous pepperoni slices was nothing short of perfection. Each slice was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, making it impossible to stop at just one.
Aside from their pizza, Krispy Pizza also offers a variety of other delicious options. Their garlic knots are a must-try, loaded with garlic and butter, and their salads are fresh and vibrant, providing a nice complement to the richer pizza offerings.
One of the standout features of Krispy Pizza is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients, which is evident in every bite. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for both a quick lunch or a casual dinner with friends and family.

Read moreThe pizza was good, but the staff was rude to me for not “ordering my pizza the right way.” I’m a customer and I gave a tip, it is not my responsibility to automatically know how your ordering system works, especially never having gone there before. Usually when you go to a cashier and tell them what you want and pay, they are able to communicate with other staff so you can get your job done, but I guess not in this case. I don’t even know if I’ll go back because of the snarky comments that one of the guys there said to me. Seriously, I’m a stressed out college student and all I need is some random pizza guy who looks like an understudy for a Jersey Shore cast member yelling at me for literally no reason. If you’re reading this, calm down and chill out. You don’t need to pick on random people to try to make yourself feel better because you couldn’t make it on Jersey Shore.
edit: i was making a joke lol. I didn’t see a sign anywhere and they could have just let me know in a normal tone that i needed to let them know. The man there was very disrespectful, so you believing your staff is courteous does not mean anything because I clearly had a bad experience. As far as you being “surprised,” I’m surprised because there are other comments about certain staff’s behavior, so it’s surprising that you would be surprised. Invalidating a customers feelings because you wanna look better is not the best way to go. oh and it wasn’t busy at the time,...
