Starbucks — Restaurant in New Brunswick

This place is a gross cafeteria experience with spilled drinks, unpleasant staff, and they treat students like cattle. Today they had at least 30 students crammed in there when it was about 100 degrees, trying to listen to their name because they don’t announce, they just dumped stuff in a corner. Half the crowd left without drinks (left abandoned on the counter) since class started and they couldn’t be late. Massive delays in ordering, and with all the staff it didn’t make sense. Obviously with no oversight or anyone caring, there was spilled coffee all over the floor and counter and no one cleaned it up, and the only decorations were pride flags (in September) They didn’t even have Rutgers or NJ stuff like the other Starbucks on campus do. It’s official, Starbucks is no longer somewhere I go to get good coffee. Super disappointing, I would think a corporate coffee shop would have standards. Otherwise just make it a privately owned...

Friendly staff, but the matcha drinks really aren't great. For instance, the iced matcha latte is often not shaken well, so it's like drinking sweetened milk on top of clumps of matcha on the bottom.

On my most recent visit to this Starbucks (today), I had ordered the iced matcha for the third time and, when I received it (poorly mixed as usual), asked if my drink could be shaken again in an attempt to solve this problem. The barista took my drink and poured it into the shaker. The clumps of matcha stayed in my cup. She rinsed the excess matcha out of the cup and didn't replace it, so, when I got my re-shaken drink, it was pretty much just sweetened milk with a pale green tint.

The place is nice, and the staffs were friendly. However, my friend and I went in for Starbucks happy hour, to which they were saying that it ended at 4pm, when the website (and app, when my friend checked afterwards) clearly saying that the happy hour should last until closing. We were there at 5, and wound up having to pay for both of our drinks. Either the staff should be more knowledgeable, or they should be better at putting up signs that clearly say the timeframe for happy hour on...
