The sushi at Nozomu is simply exquisite. Each bite is a testament to the freshness of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs. I highly recommend trying their Sushi Sunday appetizer, a delightful introduction to their menu that showcases the essence of their culinary expertise.
One dish that stole the show for my daughter was the New Hope Roll. Its combination of flavors and textures was truly outstanding. The creativity and attention to detail in their rolls are truly impressive, making Nozomu a must-visit for sushi lovers.

Read moreThis was our first time dining at Nozomu. We started with the Sushi Sundae w/rock shrimp and edamame. The rock shrimp were not hot and the batter did not stick to the shrimp, was a mess to be honest. The edamame was the usual steamed edamame. I told the server that we didn’t want the sushi sundae and brought over the manager. In the restaurant business, you always need that one person that can turn a bad experience into a great one, Amanda did just that. Our server was not great but Amanda’s passion and attention saved the night for us. We replaced the sushi sundae with the sashimi salad which had a bountiful amount of salmon, tuna and hamachi on it. Very fresh, just needed more acid (rice vinegar).
On to the main course: we ordered eel, salmon belly and hamachi sashimi. Very fresh but the eel was cold and the hamachi had the blood line in it. I did tell Amanda and she quickly replaced it. She noted that this is how the chef serves it. I’ve never seen it served that way but all good. We ordered the LNF and Onikiss rolls. Both were fabulous!! Well prepared and full of flavor, I highly recommend these rolls.
Few observations: the bathroom in any restaurant tells a story about the attention to detail. The shelves in the bathroom were full of dust and the trash can had paper towels overflowing in it.
when customers leave, at the very least the host/hostess should always say “have a great night, ty for dining with us” for example. That’s why the restaurant business is so hard, you have to be on point from when a customer walks in to when they leave.
We just want this place to thrive and are looking forward to...
Read moreI’ve had the privilege of both dining here as well as briefly working at Nozomu. Therefore, I believe I have a well-rounded understanding of what makes Nozomu an incredible restaurant.
The food here is delicious and prepared with militaristic precision. The chefs here are masters of their craft and it shows in the quality of their rolls. What made me fall in love with this place was the addition of quail eggs to their ikura sushi. Raw eggs are often paired with ikura in Japanese cuisine, and as a half-Japanese individual, I was delighted to see this executed at Nozomu.
The staff here is excellent. They remember your name, your preferences, and are always happy to see you. I would know, as I was able to work alongside such a talented staff and gained firsthand insight into their service. The chefs are really cool and interesting people as well. They come from different walks of life but are bound by their passion for the art of sushi. I nearly cried when I ate a piece of their salmon nigiri.
Amanda, the owner of Nozomu, is a hard-working person with an eye for talent and Japanese cuisine. She is the heart of Nozomu — from buzzing around to make sure everyone is enjoying their meal, to engaging with her staff as though we are family. I was particularly touched by her compassion and kindness to both her staff and patrons.
Nozomu is a gem in the greater New Hope area. A stylish and cozy sushi joint helmed by a visionary who appreciates Japanese cuisine, backed by an exceptionally talented staff. This place is...
