We saw Alicia Renee aka Blue Eyes during a street performance the morning of April 20th. We wanted to listen to her do a full performance and she announced that she would be at the 21st Amendment that night. We planned to go and listen to one set and then go grab dinner but between the fantastic performance and the bartender, Carly, we ended up spending the whole night there. Carly was one of the most efficient, upbeat friendly bartenders we saw in New Orleans all week. After a couple drinks I described the type of cocktail I typically like and she created one from her imagination with bourbon, ginger bitters, lemon and I am not sure what else. I wish I knew exactly what it was, so I could recreate it because it was a phenomenal drink.
