I will preface this by saying I am a CC’s girl and would choose it over Starbucks any day especially the holiday drinks. I was on vacation and visited this location for an Espresso22. Upon walking in there was a guy with a huge dog and all 3 workers were at the pick up station playing with the dog and talking to the guy. I placed my order, dropped a tip in the cup and waited for my drink. The workers continued to talk with the guy and play with the dog, the barista was back and forth from the dog to the station NEVER washing her hands. The guy left and I’m the only one left and every one is just playing around. After about 15 minutes(standing directly in front of the pick up station), I walked up to the register and say “hey i haven’t received my coffee” someone said hey i will make it. I then stated that was ok, I’ll just go to another coffee shop and requested a refund. No apologies or anything. I ended up stopping at the Old Metairie Village CC’s. Out of all the CC’s I have stopped this is the only location that I’d never...
Read moreUpdate-- I posted pictures with review and for reasons I will not go into, cCs coffee tracked down where I worked to ask me to take them down. The pictures were of the long line and lots of customers in the location to make the point they are rude and turning down business. Also they contained the picture of the horribly rude manager. I live and work in the neighborhood and am a bit offended that they infringed on my life like this.
So lots of tour guides bring their tours here just before 9 pm, and the staff is SO rude to them. Telling them that they can't use the restroom after 9, even if they were in and had ordered well before that. Also telling people in line they can't order even if they were in line. Why this location doesn't stay open until 9:30 is beyond me. They should look at their sales and see the spoke just before closing. There are not many options for people with children in the area, and you think CC's would appreciate...
Read moreThis CCs always has it rough -- tourists and locals descend on it in the mornings, so the rush can wipe out their stock, and employee turnover is high, so someone is always in training. But everyone I've met here is friendly and trying to help, and when customers are gracious, it helps immensely.
If you're new to CCs, it's a local Louisiana coffee roaster and coffee house chain. This is Louisiana style coffee -- very darkly roasted, meant to be taken sweet and with milk of some stripe. Black coffee is not always your best bet. There's an app to customise drinks, and if you've got a complex order, that's the best way to handle it, especially if it's busy. It's good coffee, though not as excellent as some of the other local roasters. It's a good baseline, this is coffee, drink some dang coffee, coffee. It's not meant for artisanal pour-overs. If you want that, look elsewhere. If you want a Bananas Foster iced coffee, get in here and get a...
