There aren't enough stars available to give the accolades to this bar and staff that they truly deserve. We usually stay at the hotel across the street from here, and after being berated by hotel staff and having a horrible stay, a friend recommended that we go and have a drink at the Chandelier Bar in the Four Seasons. To be honest, I am usually intimidated by luxury hotels like this, but even though we were casually dressed we were welcomed like royalty from the time we went to the front door which was graciously opened for us, to the mixologists who gave us white glove service like a true hospitality professional does.
Let's be honest, we were there for photos as well as a drink. Their Chandelier Martini was named the best in the US - a title that we found was well deserved. The mixologists were so kind, when we asked to change seats (so we could get better photos) they were happy to oblige. Craig and Clayton were very respectful of our space -they let us start the conversation, and when we asked them about the different cocktails, who designed them, and the "spirit forward profiles" - love that! - they were so knowledgeable and kind about sharing their experiences - it completely changed our moods, and made our trip. We are already planning our next trip so we can try more of the menu, and needless to say, we won't be staying across the street again! It doesn't cost a thing to be kind and to be in a good mood, but being in a bad mood can be very costly for you, and for the business that you represent. This was a great reminder of why places like the Four Seasons are such a great value in the long run - I will save up to be treated with respect instead of being berated, and I am looking forward to spending many more evenings in the Chandelier Bar with this...

This was not the case. While the bar is visually appealing, there was nothing captivating about it. The service was okay but not impressive, and they barely refilled our water glasses.
I'm shocked that this is a Four Seasons hotel bar because it felt like just a "lobby bar." You would expect it to be exceptional, but it wasn't.
Avoid the shrimp cocktail at all costs. The shrimp was slimy and tasted like rubber, reminiscent of frozen shrimp from the grocery store that you thaw and cook.
The charcuterie, chicken sandwich, and beignets were good.
However, the cookies were not worth the hype, despite the bartender's enthusiasm.
They offer a complimentary kettle chips with a seasoning on it, basic to say the least.
I had such high hopes, left really...
Read moreMy FAVORITE place in New Orleans! My mum and I had a long weekend at the Four Seasons and went down to the Chandelier Bar on the second night (June 16th). Mum and I wanted to have a light meal and to take in some of the atmosphere. We were looked after by a staff member named Jason (J.C) who is incomparable to any other server I’ve had in the US or Australia (where I’m from). Jason was friendly, helpful and quick to check on us or whether we needed anything. The bar is beautiful and the food was wonderful, but had it not been for Jason and the experience he provided us— I’m not sure it would’ve been one of 5 stars.
Mum and I visited again the next night before dinner to have a quick drink and chat with Jason. Without a doubt, Chandelier Bar would be my first stop when I next return to New Orleans, and my first recommendation to...
