Wow, people are rating this place like a real restaurant... I don't know, but compared to themed restaurants inside themed parks, this place really wasn't that bad. I was really digging the decor and the staff was quite friendly. I came here for a quick refuel (of soda... it's a soda shop right?) after running through the first building in the WWII museum and found it convenient to be directly connected to the biggest souvenir shop in the museum. Most importantly, I didn't felt like I was getting severely price gouged as I do at most themed park restaurants. If people are really starving for some good food, Cochon Butcher is just 2 blocks east. It's not like the museum has restriction on in and out privileges.

Almost no vegetarian options unless you want a $14 premade salad. Most items aren’t priced. Finally got up to order and the woman told us “no shakes!” despite the place being designed as a retro ice cream shop. Grilled cheese and “soup” came with unmarked greenish watery sour soup, not tomato as one would assume.

Like others have said, the price is kind of high for counter service, but the food quality was great! We got a beef patty melt and the gumbo. Super friendly service, short wait time, and charming atmosphere. We didn’t get to try any desserts but they had a display of several delicious-looking treats.

Went to the WWII Museum this past weekend with my wife and kids (both under 2y/o). Museum was amazing. We all had a good time. Well my oldest son was starting to show signs of his seizures he sometimes gets. So I went to the cafe, waiting in line, and picked up some powerade and a milk to help him calm down. But they denied me service because I didnt have a Vaccine Card. I literally had my card out and ready to put into their chip reader but they wouldnt let me. Well luckily the Museum store 10ft away (LITERALLY LIKE 10ft) had sprite and water that I could give him. No vaccine card required. Glad they have such a huge health concern for 2 year olds here…. 100% do not recommend this place at all. Do...

Buyer beware. This place is an absolute tourist trap (we're locals). The food is terrible, takes a millenia to be made, and the cost is astronomical especially for counter service. Do not expect the classic "American Diner Experience". While the employees are friendly, the quality of the food is seriously lacking. The hot dog was served with quarter slices of barely cooked bell peppers and onions. The patty melt was their basic grilled cheese with a McDonald's type beef product, and the cheese wasn't even melted! Do yourself a favor, and drive around and find another eatery after experiencing the...
