With Harrahs / Caesars spending all of their resources to get ready for the NOLA Super Bowl, it is obvious that there is no or little attention being paid on managing the resources that they have, or making current guests happy. The staff at the casino and hotel were miserable, and it came through in how they treated guests and did their jobs. We got a slice of cheese, and of pepperoni, and they were reheated, and were nothing but grease - there is no telling how long they had been sitting out before they were served to us. The pastries obviously were not made there, and again looked like they had long gone past their shelf live. But the worst part is that I got sick after eating my slice of pepperoni, and my stomach was turning for the next few days. There is nothing worse than being in New Orleans and not being able to eat! Overpriced and underwhelming. If you like days old cake though, in a plastic wrapping or dried out pastries probably made thousands of miles away, this is the place for you. We took one slice of the Rainbow Cake home, and to be honest forgot about it. Two months later it looked the same as when we bought it - I can't imagine the amount of...
Read moreI stopped by Pizza Cake in New Orleans and not only was the food incredible, but the service from Jevondia made the whole experience unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine energy that instantly made me feel welcome.
She took the time to walk me through the menu, made great recommendations, and even gave me a little backstory on a few of the signature pies. You can tell she truly loves what she does and cares about every customer who walks through the door. It’s rare these days to find service that feels that personal and sincere.
And yes — the pizza was 🔥. Perfect crust, quality toppings, and full of flavor. I went with [insert specific pizza or say “one of their specialty pies”], and it hit every note. But honestly, even if the pizza hadn’t been as good as it was (which it definitely was), I’d come back just because of how Jevondia made me feel like a valued guest.
Pizza Cake is lucky to have someone like her on the team. Great food, great people — this place is a NOLA gem. Can’t wait...

I ordered a slice of the spicy supreme and a pepperoni deep dish.
My first impression of the spicy supreme is very good. Served hot from the oven and crispy crust. It's an impressive combination of flavors. The spicy supreme is spicy enough for most folks. They have red peppers and Parmesan if you need it. It's a large slice to justify the $8 price tag you're basically getting two slices.
The deep dish pepperoni with marinara and mini cupped pepperoni was also very good. The crust was crispy but the dough was soft and the marinara delicious.
Even the crust is well flavored it's a well made pie highly recommend. If you like desserts, they also have cakes, cookies, and other sweet confections to satisfy your...
