The Windsor Court Spa — Local services in New Orleans

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love the Windsor Court Hotel and all of the dining facilities. It is beautiful, the staff is amazing, the food is delish, the service is bar none, and the atmosphere is luxurious. So, I expected the best from the spa.

We had a couples massage. The facilities and staff were courteous. The massage was very weak. The masseuse used almost no pressure. I asked twice if she would adjust and she did not. I am not a super muscular person so I don't know what was going on. I get regular massages and have not ever had this experience. My boyfriend's massage was great.

Afterward I took the card of the manager and emailed to express my displeasure and concern that the masseuse was not responsive. The massage was very costly at around $200 each which would not have been a problem if the experience was good. To add insult to injury the manager was defensive and not at all responsive. We emailed twice. She advised that I should have upgraded ahead of time to a deep tissue massage and never for once considered that I may be correct. She had no response to the fact that I asked twice during the massage for more pressure. As if paying an additional $20 or whatever was the issue. (If I can afford $400 for two massages clearly I am not worried about an upgrade.) I asked that she simply listen for other complaints about the masseuse or provide feedback, but she again advised that I was wrong.

Wow. I had never had bad customer service at a luxury hotel. I will never go to the WC Spa again even with the discounts I've been getting by email. I will also share this story with any and all who ask me...

One Name: Mandy! My recent visit came as a gift, and it was a most enjoyable 1st-time experience at Windsor Spa. They did not disappoint. I wish I could have taken Mandy with me! 😁 She was a great listener and had a thorough understanding of anatomy and massage techniques. She was mindful of body cues and used strength when/where appropriate. She was patient (I dislike a rushed massage) and overall very skillful. The spa facility itself was clean, elegant, and well-stocked. No need to bring toiletries- they had your most commonly used items. The front desk agent was super polite and hospitable- the brief tour was nice. After my massage, I enjoyed a mimosa and small delectables in the relaxation room. There was a sauna, eucalyptus steam room, dressing room complete with hair dryers and curling irons at each station- AND great lighting! Definitely a five star spa...

My experience at the Windsor Court Spa was elegant, professional and enjoyable! The staff was super accommodating and genuinely pleasant.

The ambience of the spa is calm and relaxing. From the lighting, locker room, amenities, comfy robes/sandals and complimentary cocktails (cheers)!

My Pedicurist Semaj's, performance in service was phenomenal! She’s very attentive, has clean work & magical hands! And that food massage was heavenly!! I will absolutely be back for another...
