Went here on a Tuesday to check the place out, just moved to this area. When I got there, there was a girl in the parking lot laying on the ground, she was so drunk, 2 guys trying to get her a cab. How do you let someone get that drunk in your bar? Anyways, no big deal. It was 39f and they had the front doors wide open, mind you the front doors are only about 7ft from the bar. I was fully clothed for the cold, but didn't expect to have to eat with my snow jacket on. I was freezing. People next to me left cause it was too cold. New people came in and thy decided to take their food to go, cause it was too cold. Bartender was so busy telling stories about her trip to New Orleans, that when I looked down the bar, there were 3 guys with empty beer glasses, as was mine, waiting for her to finish telling stories and do her job. The guy next to me came in with his wife and they both ordered drinks. The lady got the girls drink, started pouring the guy a Guiness, and then stopped halfway for some reason got sidetracked. Went back to story telling about her trip and 10 min later realized she forgot to give the guy his beer. I was shocked the guy patiently waited that long and didn't say a word. She appologized and gave him the beer for free. I wanted to stay and watch the hockey game but it was just too damn cold to hang out. All I can say is they likely lost a lot of business that night by having the doors wide open. As I was leaving, a couple came in and sat down. As I was walking to my car he came out behind me and I heard him say to his wife "I gotta go to the car and get my jacket". I'm sure they didn't stay long either. I ordered the Haddock sandwich, is was ok, can't complain, it didn't even come with fries, but I ordered fries too and they were just so so. Nothing to write home about for sure, poor service and the double doors wide open when it's 39f makes this a must skip spot. Don't...
Read moreI literally come here all the time specially for the Moscow Mules but I get it with Tequila, specifically Jose Cuervo, I guess that would be called a Mexican Mule haha, anyways, it’s always hella stupendously good. I wish I knew the bartenders names, I go there so often and live only a few mins away, you’d think I’d know by now right? The brunette with tattoos, and the tall guy with tattoos as well, both of them always greet me so kindly, always know what I’m going to order and have it ready within minutes and then I’m on my way. Whether I take the drink to go, or drink it there, it always tastes perfectly crafted, not only is the mule bomb, the grilled cheese (with tomato) and fries is a slapper. I’m a simple person as I’m sure you can tell. I’m just one person and these bartenders go out of there way for me so I always tip as much as I can, and if there’s only a couple bucks in cash in my wallet for a $6 drink, I still feel bad and write more on the tip part of receipt because honestly these people deserve so much more. Don’t understand all the negative reviews. I’m Ally, always getting the drinks to go, using my cashapp card haha, love y’all! This is the bar to go to on weekends when all the other bars are wayyyy too crowded, this is the one you’ll want to go to, good drinks, good food, good atmosphere, and even better company....
Read moreAwesome, awesome establishment. The environment is uplifting, especially with the free live music which had a great song set. By far the best place I have ever gone to for proper Irish cuisine. Ordered the fish and chips and was very pleased as it was great Cod, identical in taste to the same meal in Ireland. The Garlic Mac and Cheese is by far the very best I have ever had, if you go there you MUST try it as I promise you WILL agree. Great prices for everything on the menu and very good sized portions.
Location is prime with a large parking lot. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. If you are one for genuine beer from Ireland then you will simply love this place as they had quite the imported ( and domestic ) selections; many of which were on tap. This is what one would expect from a proper Irish style bar and restaurant. Also, a large selection of liquor for those who are not into beer.
I more than recommend this great place and urge everyone to go there. The have certain gained a customer for life from this happy reviewer! You certainly will not be let down going here! Cannot say enough good things...
