5C Cafe — Restaurant in New York

5C came highly recommended. My friends and I are all Foodys n im also a chef.Other than buffets this has got to be the worst experience I've had in My 50 yrs of purchasing take out in Manhattan. I ordered the vegetable platter which was Brussel sprouts and collard greens.I also ordered hot wings.The Brussel sprouts were salty and dripping in Aloli sauce and mushy. The hot wings were old and they were fried not hot.the collards were just tossed in a aluminum pan n dripping all over the rest of my order .This was a horrible experience.Maybe the address for delivery is why they sent left overs . 5C I heard you guys were really good. I don't know what happened, but you can definitely do a lot better. The food was not edible. Food should be 5 stars no matter the address of delivery. A guest of mine and I came in one night a few months ago and had a great time. It was a relatively calm Tuesday night with great food and calm vibes. The cook was so sweet and attentive and the food was great! I had the steak, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts with some Moscato and my guest at the time had the salmon, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese with a beer — absolutely delicious.
