We went on a Friday evening and got there at about 6/6:15pm. The place is narrow, so it's best for take out or pick up orders, in my opinion. They have a small seating area for about four people up front and maybe two high tops where you can stand and eat. The menu is super simple: For food - a cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, impossible burger, and fries. To drink - Mexican coke and water The burger toppings are also listed, which are: grilled onions, American cheese, pickles, and house sauce. I did hear some people order loaded fries, but I have no idea exactly what comes on those (maybe it's a 7th street secret menu 🤔 lol). Our wait time was 15 to 20 minutes, and then the back end notified the front whenever the wait time increased so she could inform those placing orders. This is great, because you will have a realistic expectation of when you will be getting your food! They take your name for your order and call it out so you can make sure you get your correct order. While I waited, I didn't see anyone come back with discrepancies with their orders, so another plus! The place definitely got crowded, which I believe seems even more so because it's not huge, but the staff were great, and they knew how to handle it. They gave realistic wait times, and they were friendly during the entire time. It got a bit hectic, but they never looked frazzled at any point. It just looked like they were making things work for them. (There was even a Marco-Polo moment among them, which really cracked me up for some reason). And the tip bucket was cutely labeled "tips for college." I know that struggle (from going several times and from working in them) so tipped they were! I'd definitely return, but I'd just try to come at a less busier time if that's...

Although this burger joint is situation along the super busy Amsterdam Avenue strip of restaurants on the Upper West Side, 7th Street Burger truly stands out among the rest! This was my first time trying this place and I am now a big fan. I've read some reviews prior to my visit and from the way customers were raving about it I was so eager to try the food. Don't expect fancy, 4 or 5 star dining here. It's basically an "in and out" spot (but there are two long communal tables to stand up and eat and also a bench near the window). I love the fact that they have a simple menu and damn are they great at it. Cheeseburger, Impossible Burger, fries. It's truly one of the best burgers you will ever have. The meat was so juicy and tender. All of the condiments mixed together and added to the burger just took it to another level. The concoction was similar to that on a Big Mac, but ten times better. YUM!!! The fries are to rave about as well. Seasoned and crisp to perfection. Don't walk! Run here NOW! This burger is heavenly.

My guest is a banana pudding addict and ordered their version of banana pudding. I had a spoonful of it and I must say that it gives Magnolia Bakery (and the like) a run for their money. It was...

4.5 / 5.0 - 7th Street Burger is my favorite burger in the city and I was so thrilled when they opened one up in UWS.

They have a simple menu and I generally order: Double Cheeseburger ($9.50+) Mexican Coke ($3.50+) Fries ($4.50) to share

The burgers aren't big, so I recommend the Double Cheeseburger over the Cheeseburger.

This location has one table inside for dining in, so my friend and I went around noon when it opened to grab it. They do also have a small bar table for standing.

When you go upon opening, I guess it takes some time for them to prepare. The wait is generally not long, but this time, we waited 20 minutes for our burgers. We had our table so it was ok, but the staff hadn't informed us of the wait and it would've been good to know.

You may need to time your visit, but if you are looking for a tasty, greasy burger, this...

Went to this small burger joint with my girlfriend, who lives a few blocks away. It’s a narrow little spot near Central Park definitely more of a takeout place than a dine-in one, so I’d suggest grabbing your food and heading to the park or home. That said, if you love burgers like I do, this place is exceptional. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in New York. I got the single patty cheeseburger, and everything was on point the bun, the meat, the sauce all absolutely delicious. The fries were also really good, not a 10/10, but close, and the dipping sauce was excellent. Surprisingly affordable for NYC: the cheeseburger was about $8, fries around $5, and we paid roughly $26 total for two. It was a bit crowded, so we waited a few minutes, but totally worth it. Highly recommend this place is going straight into my top burgers list. Five stars.
