Adam's Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in New York

I order from this place everyday and the Hispanic man who picks up the phone for deliveries is very nasty. He is VERY unprofessional! I recently just called to make a brkfst delivery as always and he told me to wait on the phone. He had me on hold for over 15mins. Despite being on hold that long, I called back and he said to me "hurry , up , its busy here. I said that is not how you speak to people. He then kept repeating " Are you going to order or what?' I replied this is not how you speak to customers He said " I have customers waiting!" Again, I informed him I am a customer also. He said "Are u ordering or what!" with a nasty tone!I asked to speak to the manager or owner of the store he refuse to let me speak to someone. Its very unfortunate because I order from this breakfast spot every morning. He also said that sometimes I dont tip the delivery guy. What does that have to do with customer service? LAST I checked tipping is OPTIONAL unless mandated. I really enjoyed ordering from this place , but I'm done with this...

If I could give less than one star I would. The service there is horribly obnoxious. I ordered over the phone for bacon cheese fries with mozzarella and gravy, when I arrived they gave me a bacon egg and cheese with mozzarella cheese and gravy....Who the hell would order that? When I corrected the counter staff he said it was my fault for ordering the wrong thing then changing it when I arrived. I said the correct order very clearly about 7 times but the counter staff was adamant that I not him got the order wrong, he even showed the ticket that HE WROTE saying i ordered a BEC with Mozz and Gravy and that I need to speak more clearly. I asked if I was speaking to him clearly now. He said yes so I asked then why would I be completely incoherrent 5 minutes ago when I ordered? Even when I was on the phone i heard him repeat bacon egg and cheese? and i corrected saying no, bacon cheese fries and he still got it wrong then blamed me. I’ve always wanted to try this deli type store since I live a few blocks away and read some good reviews on here, especially the casino royale hero. I finally got the chance and made it on a weekday morning. Was pretty busy, steady stream of customers. The Latino workers were hustling. Stepped up and ordered the casino royale w avocado. $12 plus $1 extra for avocado. Total w tax and extra for using credit card. Paid $14.76 total wow. But you know if it’s excellent then don’t mind the $$$. Took awhile to make it but finally got it home. I tell you, it was huge let down. It wasn’t horrible by any means, but it was very very average. Not even good. Average. It was pretty long and bacon was crispy. Not much cheese, chicken was eh. No special sauce or special taste of any kind. It was average and having paid $14.76 I think it was one and done. This sandwich worth not more than $8 tops.
