Armando's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I believe customer service is MAJOR. I called for delivery and we are literally just an 8 minute bike ride from them and was told they don’t deliver. They didn’t even seem like they cared. They wanted to be specific and say a 1 mile radius (which is hilarious) and when I put it on Google Maps our address said 1.3 miles. They really don’t want business. It’s okay Mike’s Pizza on Fulton Street is twice the amount of time away from us and they never had a problem. So maybe I had a blonde moment and just decided to order from Armando’s when I should’ve just stayed with Mike’s. It actually felt like I was cheating on my “barber”. You know the only one you go to because they are the best for you and you’ve been a loyal customer for years. I also asked to speak to the person in charge and he didn’t even put an effort. It’s okay they may have lost a customer just like that but we will continue to give Mike’s Pizza on 3324 Fulton Street, Brooklyn New York 11208 our business because we have never had a problem with them and their food is definitely one...

The food is good that's why that's even 2 stars. I NORMALLY get it delivery. So when I actually go inside to order, the person that was prepping my food was not wearing gloves. We're in a pandemic.... I know NYC pizza places play games constantly with sanitary stuff. BUT, when I request if he could wear gloves while STRAIGHT UP putting his hand directly on my calzone he said "No." EVERYONE behind the counter said no as a matter of fact. The excuse being" he didn't touch anything but the food" and he "CAN'T" put on gloves. I watched him open a door to a drawer/cabinet to get out toppings, that's not food, with all due respect. I'll be crazy and that's fine, but we're supposed to be taking more precautions to maintain safety than refusing to put on gloves at a customer's request when I watch you put your whole palm all on my food. I left. I'm good. At least pretend to be more sanitary than THAT. I won't be ordering from...

Okay, so the regular cheese slice was good. Not the very best I've ever eaten but it was good, the cheese sticks tasted like they were out for days, so did the garlic knots. I was really excited about the chicken roll ,and it had good taste but was raw in the middle that dough was not cooked through. I was really disappointed because I am 4 months pregnant and I was afraid I'd get sick from the dough. I wanted this place to be great because it's the only non franchise pizza place near me.
