A yummy bagel spot in NYC that offers a variety of cream cheese flavors!š½š„Æ
Bagel Pub has multiple locations in the area!
Atmosphere: The place was busy when we visited and seems to be a frequent spot for breakfast. The space is long and rectangular and offers seating outside, inside in the front, and in the back (which looked so cozy)! Service: The workers are quick on their feet and ensured that all customers were taken care of by asking if we were ready to order. We didnāt wait long for the bagel. Menu items: They had a large variety of cream cheese and bagel options. It was honestly hard for me to choose what I wanted! I ended up going with the Onion Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheeseāa go-to for me. They also had several sweet, cream cheese options as well. The presentation behind the glass added to the quality of the place as seen in the pictures! The best part was that the bagel was toasted perfectly and was easy to chew (Iāve had some tough bagels before!)
There are so many different combinations with their bagel and cream cheese options that allow costumers to get something new everyday. Aside from that, they offer so many other menu items such as salads, bagel sandwiches, wraps, paninis, coffee,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love bagels but this place is ruining the air quality of the area. I canāt go outside onto my deck behind the pub because their exhaust system is continually running. These types of bakeries need to exist far away from densely populated residential neighborhoods and schools. A bakery can have air pollution emissions from several different processes (including gas combustion). The primary emission source at a bakery is the oven, which produces major contaminants of concern known as volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The main VOC emitted from bakery operations is ethanol. Itās impossible to be outside in my yard while their exhaust system is running (seems to be running entire time theyāre open). Air is so thick and dense. Iām young and healthy but every time I go outside even for a few minutes Iām coughing. It smells nice but my lungs are not happy and I canāt enjoy my deck. Thereās enough pollution and exhaust in our air already, the neighborhood doesnāt need...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ambiance was great. The artwork was funny and bagel themed. Great spot to sit outdoors or indoors. The noice level was nigher than average, but you could still hear your dining partner. We ate there yesterday morning, the morning of a holiday weekend, and it was busy but the staff kept things running so smoothly. Our order was accurate and was finished relatively quickly, considering how busy they were. The day before, we ate at Liberty Bagels but we determined this restaurant was elite. The selection of spreads was amazing. I love how it's set up the way a gelateria is. My only complaint that keeps this from being a 5 star review was the issues I had with ordering online. I tried several times to pay to complete my order but it wouldn't let me. It made the wait time a bit longer since I spent time trying to order digitally, but the line moved pretty quick. Like I said, the staff is efficient and works...
