I was there on Sunday July 1st at 6 00pm. The attention is horrible. Took 20 minutes to be observe.. I ask for more water and was never brought to the table. The plate I order was Barzola Picada it took 30 min to be brought out and when the server brought the plate to me the meat and chorizo was cold like it was sitting on the side. She came out with the tray of plates and saw a party of 6 people she left our plate in the open and took 10 minutes to seat the other party and came back to hand us our plate. II NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE not even in chain restaurant.. that was so rude of her. There was no supervision the person taken care of us "Alexandra was not patient at all. She took the plate back and said she was going to have them make a fresh one .. not even 3 minutes and the same plate came back and I know because there was tomato and lettuce in the plate and they were hot and lettuce was brown. Her only suggestion was to get something else. Since I was hungry I decide to order something else. When I finish I ask for my check .. in the check she was charging for a soda that she never gave to me and she got mad .. then I was getting charge 15% of tip that she didn't deserve . I being to the barzola in Brooklyn and miami and the attention is ok but today service was horrible .. management should take care of there staff and train them better or hire people with experience. While trying to enjoy a nice frozen margarita, the bartender decided to clean down the margarita machines by directly spraying a bleach base cleaning product at the machines!
When the bartender was done cleaning down the machines, she left (I'm guessing for a break), I ordered a drink with a waiter and paid our bill. When the bartender came back, she started to spray the beer tap (where I'm sitting in front of). The bleach base product hit my arm and drink. When she realized it, she said sorry and laughed. I asked her to please provide me with a new margarita and she said ok. She started to rim the glass with lime in the same gloves she was using to clean. I asked her to please remove the gloves and wash her hands. When I received the new drink, we moved from in front of the beer tap to another area at the bar. The bartender ended up coming back in front of use and continued to spray the bleach base product. The smell was so strong that our drinks started to taste like bleach!
We ended up leaving our full drinks and walked over to LA Kuchara on 30th Ave on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLooking for Ecuadorian restaurants sounds easy in Queens. My family is from the Coast and taste vary depending on the region. Although we are from the same country, flavor and seasoning for Soups are the hardest to come close. Most restaurants have a home feel, meaning not much decoration just good food. This place has a little bit of a different feel, vibrant and energetic setting. For an Ecuadorian restaurant, they should offer Ecuadorian beer. Ordered the āCaldo de Salchichaā Popular Blood sausage hearty soup. This soup is loaded with all kinds of internal meat. The flavor was delicious. Couple of issues, the soup was served luke warm. Second the plantain sausage was flavored with the same as the Caldo de Bola. It wasnāt bad, just that those sausages are only supposed to carry plantain filling without meat. This one had meat like the filling for the balls for āCaldo de Bolaā. I would recommend they quality check the temperature of the food when served.
Since I only had the soup and no other plates. Iāll try it again before I give a...
