This is standard airport food... it's there. The staff seems to be working hard but it is just a busy place. I got in line and saw the "skip the line! Order online!" And I was like, "that sounds great there are like ten people in front of me!" So I did...and then after paying it said that my hot tea would be ready...in eighteen minutes. I watched the whole like go through at least three times and when it was empty the cashier looked down and said, "stefanie? Did you get your hot tea yet?" I'm not sure what would have happened if the line hasn't run out. And then she handed me a cup of hot water and I made my own tea.

   Read moreI can’t figure out why the Port Authority would make LGA customers wait 10 minutes for simple food at an AIRPORT. The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is delicious but apparently they make a tray of them at a time, so you wait. Even the coffee takes a good 5 mins. And they finally had to switch to self-service ordering kiosks because they couldn’t handle the volume of customers. There’s always a long line in the morning. So it’s a miserable, slow experience. If you like coffee in the morning, I advise you to get coffee upstairs where the stores are, before you come down the escalators...

Went back all the way and asked why it was not tomato soup as advertised in the menu. She said they were out of tomato. They did not ask for permission for the substitute. They did not inform me when picking up that they replaced it with onion soup. No apologies, no remorse. They appeared to care not an iota about customer service.
