One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had recently was visiting a Bilqis, and I can’t help but share how impressed I was with every detail of this place.

The first thing that caught my attention was the unique interior design. The traditional, heritage-inspired style of the space gives you the feeling of traveling back in time to an era full of authenticity and charm. The fine details in the décor, from the warm lighting to the elegantly designed furniture, reflect great attention to quality and aesthetics.

This has to be one of the more inviting cafes I've been to about everywhere. Although they have a bunch of trendy drinks, which is not a dig, I found their more traditional coffees and treats something special. For instance, on a cold and snowy winter day, I ordered a light Yemeni coffee in a traditional pot along with Yemeni ka'ak. The coffee from what I remembered had a pleasant and light nutty flavor that was also with spices like cardamom. The ka'ak was also very lighty sweet. If you've had scones, imagine one that is dense with a brown butter flavor. If you've had Palestinian or Lebanese ka'ak, imagine something a decent bit different hah.

The baristas are salt of the earth. They get a lot of customers so they're usually very bus, but the staff are attentive regardless. Some drinks do take a lot of prep, so orders do take a few minutes to be ready, but they're well worth it.

The accommodations also set this place apart. You'll be seated in a majlis, a cushioned seat with partitions, that makes one feel at home. It's the perfect place to spend hours studying or hanging out with friends, hence why the place has a lot of customers. There's also a reservable space in case you need to have a group study session.
