I was being taken out for my belated birthday, and I asked to be surprised, as long as it was on Staten Island. It was a week night, work night so, didn't want to venture out too far. I was given the address without the name of the place to meet up there. I was a bit confused because I work in that area, and had no knowledge of a restaurant around there. It was down the block from where you go to pay your summons on St. Marks Place. While driving there, I approached some decorative lights, if I would have blink, would have missed it. There was plenty of parking in front. The restaurant is not that visible from the street. It is like a hidden gem on Staten Island. When walking in, you are in awe of the beautiful decor. I have seen nothing like it on Staten Island. Very trendy and edgy looking first floor lounge. We descended to the bottom floor where the main dining area is situated. It is a very serene atmosphere. It reminded me of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant SUR in Los Angeles. I have not seen anything of this caliber on Staten Island. I was very impressed. Loved the name, as well, which means World in Albanian. The menu is very diverse, Bota is the perfect name for this restaurant because the menu is a fusion of different flavors. We ordered the calamari and short rib steam buns as appetizers. Both were excellent. My favorite entre to have usually involves shrimp, BUT, not on the menu. I ordered the next best thing, the lobster risotto. I can tell you, I was not disappointed. It was outstanding. My dinner partner was full from the appetizers, so she ordered the tuna tartare as a dinner option. She was very satisfied with her dish. The executive chef, Carlos, was out in the dining room and part of the food presentation. Have never met a chef so passionate about his creations. He does an excellent job. Our server, Gonzalo, was very personable and attentive throughout our entire dining experience. Excellent service at this restaurant. I was so pleased our first impression of this restaurant, that I am proud to say it has become my favorite on the Island. I highly recommend everyone to try it. You will be highly impressed. Welcome to Staten Island, BOTA. This type of venue is long overdue on this island. Thank you for an excellent dining experience. I will surely be back!!

Restaurant Review: Bota Supper Club – A Culinary Experience to Remember From the moment we stepped into Bota Supper Club, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of chic and cozy, with warm lighting, stylish decor, and an energetic yet intimate vibe that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The aesthetics alone are a 10/10, effortlessly balancing modern elegance with a welcoming, upscale ambiance. Food & Drinks – A Culinary Masterpiece The menu at Bota Supper Club is a testament to culinary artistry, and our meal was nothing short of exceptional. We started with the chef-inspired baked oysters, which were an absolute revelation—perfectly baked with a rich, flavorful topping that enhanced the natural brininess of the oysters. Every bite melted in our mouths. The calamari was another highlight, expertly cooked to a tender perfection with just the right amount of crispiness and seasoning. For drinks, we indulged in a passion fruit spritz and a red sangria—both refreshing and beautifully balanced. The passion fruit spritz was light and tropical, with a slight effervescence that made it the perfect aperitif. The sangria, on the other hand, was rich and fruity, with deep red wine notes complemented by hints of citrus and spice. Service & Experience – A True Standout One of the most memorable aspects of our evening was the unparalleled energy and hospitality from the staff and Chef Carlos. Every interaction was filled with warmth and enthusiasm, making us feel not just like guests but like part of an exclusive dining experience. Chef Carlos’s passion for his craft was evident, as he personally checked in to ensure every dish was nothing short of perfection. Final Verdict Bota Supper Club is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Whether you’re looking for an intimate date night, a lively gathering with friends, or simply an evening of top-tier food and drinks, this spot delivers on all fronts. With impeccable service, a vibrant atmosphere, and food that leaves a lasting impression, we can’t wait to return. ⭐ Overall Rating: 10/10 ⭐

Did a Friday night date night with my husband.. (we had reservations) first of the walk in this place is chic sexy it definitely gives grown and sexy vibes. They have a sitting area and then a dining area downstairs. Very nice . The service is great the waiters are very attentive! The food the short rib bun is a must !!!!! Lollipop chicken wings are really good the sriracha sauce definitely has a kick but an also has a honey taste. The decor in the dining area is very cozy and intimate. -New York strip steak was cooked to my husband liking the crust on the steak was absolutely delicious the flavor was delicious -harvest chicken was seasoned well vey juicy the potatoes underneath were delicious again the only issue I had was the temperature of the food was warm . Even the appetizers very good but just warm . So the cons are …… -They do not serve hard alcohol only wine and champagne all their drinks have a wine base mixed with some kind of juice. -When you order sangria if you order a pitcher they don’t have pitcher carafes (4 glasses = a pitcher) not to bad considering the size , I recommend getting a pitcher if you plan on having more than one it’s just cost effective. -The food was definitely seasoned very well and very delicious BUT the temperature of the food was just like warm which either gives that food is premade and reheated or it’s sitting in the window to long and is what they call “dying”. Overall this is a really nice cozy spot for date night the price point is not too expensive. Dessert was churros with chocolate sauce and salted caramel sauce with ice cream . *CHEFS 💋 KISS* delicious. Again I would definitely come back !! Parking is not bad but if there’s a show at the theater parking maybe limited they do offer valet. I also strongly recommend making a reservation as this has a small intimate dining area you definitely want to insure that you will be able to get a table.

My experience at Bota Supper Club was truly unique, from the moment I made the reservation to the last sip of my drink. The service was impeccable, starting with an extremely attentive waiter, who greeted us warmly and promptly when taking our order. As a starter, we opted for the octopus skewer, a dish that will surprise us with its perfection. The crunchy exterior contrasted deliciously with the softness and tenderness of the interior, making it the ideal appetizer to whet the appetite in a practical and tasty way. Next, we tasted the rice with spicy tuna, a delicious dish that stood out for its softness and a subtly spicy taste. The explosion of flavors was perfectly balanced, and the touch of habanero chili gave it a unique intensity that elevated the dish to another level. Another dish that I cannot fail to mention is the Caesar salad, which was a delight in every way. The crisp, fresh lettuce was perfectly paired with a creamy dressing, while the grated parmesan added a touch of sophistication that enhanced its flavor. The waiter was always on hand to make sure our experience was the best it could be, providing recommendations and making our visit truly special. For the main course, we suggested trying the spicy vodka rigatoni, an option that stood out for its bold flavor and unique Calabrian touch. It is, without a doubt, an out-of-the-ordinary option that I recommend to those looking for something different and full of character. Finally, the ribs were a true delicacy. The meat was so tender that it practically melted in your mouth, and the flavor was so deep and delicious that it seemed to melt with every bite. To top it off, the desserts were the perfect ending to a spectacular meal. Each one, absolutely delicious, added an extra layer of satisfaction to the culinary experience. The flavors were balanced, with the ideal sweetness to round off the evening in the best way. The drinks were equally exceptional, with innovative combinations and impeccable presentation. The atmosphere of the place also contributed to the magic of the experience: modern, welcoming and vibrant. I will definitely be back soon. Bota Supper Club has left a lasting impression, and I can't wait to repeat this...
