Ugh don’t get me started. Came to this seeming utopia of caucasian food only to leave very rattled and upset. I must forewarn we were extraordinarily peckish one might even say hangry. We ordered a sandwich, mac and cheese, and a ceaser salad. You wanna bet how much that was? $50, on my mother. Now something to know about me, I am a student. The food came relatively quick, and to my demise the mac and cheese was basically noodles in a pool of cheese water. And the sandwich was acidic in a dirty socks kind of way. The salad was OK but the croutons were not croutons, I kid you not they were literally cubes of stale soggy bread. Please send your love during our...

The place was cafeteria style. Waited about 15 minutes to seat. The waiter didn't say his name. Gave my son and I one menu. We looked over the strange choices and decided on the Baked Pennette (mac and cheese). It was CRAP!!! The noodles were so hard and the water was never drained out. The cheese was over cooked and completely nasty!!! CreamyCornmeal Polenta, this is a fancy name for farina in a bowl with cheese melted on top. I can't say it was anything good. After a few bites it was like baby food. Presentation was nice with some green saucy looking liquid on top. Over all. This is not worth the wait or the money. It's not cheap and...

The ordering process was very simple and the food was decent. There was not a huge selection and the prices were quite high. The main downside was the limited seating. The tables were quite close together and there were not many open seats together. A large section of seating was closed and it would have helped tremendously to have it opened up. I had the Italian panini which was OK. I didn’t love the salami but you couldn’t make any modifications to anything on the menu. Don’t think I’d eat here again.

When we headed to the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, we figured we would grab a slice from a street vendor...but no pizza to be found. Fortunately, they have a cafe or two in the museum. Not expecting a lot and wanting a quick meal we headed to the cafe before viewing the fabulous art. We were quickly sat and our orders taken. Food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. It was better than expected and provided us with what we wanted a quick meal that satisfied and they more than met that goal.

I was pleasantly surprised by the MoMA cafe! You order at the counter, take a number, and they bring your food to the table. I got the polenta dish with poached egg, feta cheese, and sautéed vegetables. It came with a side of rosemary bread which was delicious. The polenta was 17 dollars, which really is the market price of lunch in the area. If you are dining alone like I was, they have lovely bar tables right against the window. I would like to return and try more of the menu.
