WARNING: AVOID THIS SALON if you value your health! Here’s what happened to me: 1. I booked my first appointment here for 10:00 AM, scheduling myself and two friends to be seen together. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they staggered our appointments instead of accommodating us simultaneously. Bothersome, but we decided to wait since we had the time. 2. I started first. The salon has six stations in the back, but the space was stifling due to constant blow-drying and styling in the front. My nail technician seemed distracted, constantly using her phone with AirPods in—voice-messaging mid-manicure, with her attention shifting from the phone, to my hands, and around the room. 3. About five minutes in, while filing my nails, she accidentally jammed the file hard into my finger, causing it to bleed immediately. I said, “Ouch!” and she casually replied, “Sorry, that can happen.” She quickly applied a green liquid from a bottle I didn’t trust, given how worn and unhygienic this liquid bottle and the equipment looked. 4. She continued as though nothing happened, still on her phone. Meanwhile, fine nail dust flew into the wound — this was NOT HYGENIC. 5. Incredibly, I still paid for this “service.” But the real cost has been FAR higher in medical bills, trying to fix the damage. 6. My finger developed a severe infection (see photos). After trying several creams at home with no improvement, the pain and swelling only worsened. Currently, my finger is painfully swollen, throbbing, and BADLY INFECTED, and I’m on my way to URGENT CARE for treatment. I have difficultities to type on my laptop, which means I can’t work at the moment. I can only hope this doesn’t progress into something more serious, and I’ll be notifying health authorities regardless. This is so BAD! If you don’t want serious health issues, DO NOT GO HERE! ZERO POINTS.

The reason they have such a high rating is because they kind of force you to leave a review at checkout, and of course, I gave them five stars while I was there. But looking back, it wasn’t really deserved. I called ahead to ask how much a dip manicure would be, and they quoted me $55. When I left, I somehow ended up spending $125, including tip. One thing that caught me off guard was the $20 charge to remove the dip—it’s fine, but I really wish they had mentioned it before. Honestly, $20 to remove a dip manicure when you’re there to get a new one seems a bit much. I also paid an extra $20 for chrome, which is standard, but the final result was nothing like the picture I showed. What really bothered me was the actual service. The manicurist made my fingers bleed at least five times. It was painful, and I had to take a break because I was worried the cuts could get infected, especially since she kept dipping my bleeding fingers into the powder. Also, dip manicures are supposed to be a little thick, but this was next level—easily half an inch thick from the nail bed up. The chrome was nothing like I expected, either. I’m giving them two stars because they gave me a free 15-minute massage, and I did go back the next day to have them remove the chrome and file my nails down. But overall, I won’t be coming back. It was a really disappointing experience, and based on my experience with dip manicures, I’d be surprised if other services were any better.

4th review: third time having a problem with MISMANAGEMENT BOOKING APPOINTMENTS. 3 of 4 times I booked here there was an issue with wrong scheduling; booked and requested an specific professional when I got at the salon was her day off; booked appointment for extensions and was allocated only 30 minutes ( you can ever do it in 30 min) now need to wait 2h for the next availability. Requested a specific professional for appointment at 12pm and she doesn’t start to work till 2pm ! What a mess!!! 3rd review : MANAGEMENT PLEASE BUY NEILPOLISH GEL!! I come here for the fantastic work that the girls do but ZERO options for GEL nail polish is a shame (just blue, red and whatever horrible color that is left ). This lack of material is sincerely making me consider to find somewhere else. I literally spent the last 3 months with the same nail polish color because there is nothing left and nothing new! Please don’t be so cheap!! 2nd review:Just went back again and let me tell you : Cindi and Miriam for ever!!! This is my second post but here I couldn’t do two so I’m adding one after the other with both nail work! 1st review: Finally found a place with amazing latinas 🙌🙌 go there and ask for Mirian, Cinti or Jennifer and you will be in great hands! Thank you girl! So glad that I found you!

I called this establishment on Friday, May 12th to make an appointment for the next day. I told the man over the phone that I wanted a gel pedicure, gel manicure with nail extensions and a eyebrow waxing. I asked him how much was that going to be and he told me "$125 more or less." That is not a set price because the establishment could charge more than what they are telling you over the phone. I thought that $125 was a already a steep price for what I wanted done. However, the reviews were very good, so I wanted to give it a try. Fast forward to the appointment and I get the gel pedicure with the gel manicure with extensions. The person taking care of me forgot about my eyebrows and I am glad that she did because when the owner told me that the price was $180 with $8 in tax, I was in shock because that is not what he told me over the phone the day before and I didnt even get my eyebrows waxed. I came prepared to pay $125 and nothing more. I only had $180 in cash on me and had to put the tax on my debit card. I was highly upset about that to the max. None of what I got done should have been $180. I really wanted to tip the girl that did my nails because she did do a good job, however, since I was charged $55 more than what I was told, her tip was in that $180 bill. Then the owner said that I could Venmo the tip (which I do not do) or I could go next door to the ATM. That was not going to happen because it was an out of network ATM which means I would have been charged double fees and no tip is worth that. So I said to him sure, I will go to the ATM. I walked out of the salon, walked past that ATM and went on with my day with no desire to return ever again. What I was charged was ridiculous! Word of advice: have a website or a service menu in the salon with accurate prices! For my first time, trying a NYC nail salon, it is safe for me to stay in Jersey where I won't be lied to about the...

OUTRAGEOUS PRICING FOR MANICURE AT $45 I am posting this review to warn others before they go here for a manicure. I booked an appointment here when my friend recommended it after getting a gel manicure. She advised me that while not the fanciest place around, her GEL manicure was fairly priced and the nail technician was nice and did a good job. So you can imagine my surprise that when it was time to pay up for my VERY BASIC (NON gel) manicure the bill was $45 PLUS tax. When I questioned why this exorbitant amount for the service, the technician apologized and told me that is how hair salons charge. I am not sure this is true, because the only time I have ever paid more than $30 for a manicure was at a high-end spa, in a robe, sipping on a lemon water and this was certainly NOT a spa experience. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Also, I would like to point out that when you google to get the address and phone number it is not listed as a hair salon. It says Nail and Spa Salon, which is deceptive to the consumer. While the nail technician was very pleasant and did a satisfactory job of adding polish to my nails, the service did not warrant the $45 price tag. Other nail salons in the area will at least massage your hands with lotion or give a quick neck massage afterwards to give you the "spa" experience and you will not find anything included in the service here that would qualify as spa-like. In addition, the polish selection was limited and the two I had selected were dry and unusable. In the end I paid almost $50 (after tax) for a simple manicure in a color that I didn't even want. A very disappointing experience. I really hope the polish will...
