I went for botox injection in the forehead. My experience was bad from start to end. This is my first time writing a review ever. Just to give a context to how disappointed I am to be motivated enough to write a review. On my appointment day, the botox technician was wearing a bandana as covid19 protective gears. Instead of a surgical mask. When I brought it up to the secretary, hoping she would make the tech wear a surgical mask, her response was: "would you like to cancel your appointment?". I left. Called the owner. He tried to justify. I said I don't know why this is a conversation. She should wear a surgical mask. Period. He said you are right and asked me to come back in an hour. I agreed. Bad mistake. During the appointment, I told the tech to inject me in a way that doesn't make my outer brows raise too much. She did it anyway. So I have the frozen look now where my face looks like I am constantly judging people. She put the product differently than my doctor had done before in another town. And right then, I knew it was not going to be good. But I wasn't sure because I'm not a trained aesthetic technician. I have to go to another clinic now. Because unlike other clinic, the RCNYC doesn't offer 2 weeks follow up, which is standard at every other botox clinic I have been to before. Besides, I don't trust the technician and she is the only one working there. I called the clinic again today to talk to the owner and or manager, but they weren't in. And I spoke with the same secretary again. Unfriendly and dry. With a slight inflection of impatience in her voice, like the first time we interacted. She told me I would get a call back. That was it for me! I am booked somewhere else now to fix my expression. And the staff there at a different clinic already was super friendly on the phone. The rejuvenation NYC clinic has poor service from start to end. They may be fine for an older clientele on which a gross hand will yield improvements anyway because of age, but for the already pretty and young, a concise manual expertise and understanding of facial anatomy in movement is necessary for satisfactory results. Which aren't part of the NYC rejuvenation clinic skills set. Edit: the owner called me and I tried to discuss the matter again but it reached to the point because of his unprofessional and inappropriate responses, where I told him I was writing a review on Google: by that point, I was annoyed with his condescending demeanor. He replied with a threat: "I will find you on Google and write a bad review for your business on Google".... I don't have a business.... but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've had good and not so good experiences here. I've been here maybe 10+ times and it's a bit of a gamble, to be honest. For one, The receptionist is often very aloof...just not very nice.... Not warm (even if you are) - which I find bizarre. For injectors, I either get someone who is super lovely or absolutely apathetic. The dichotomy of the staff here is alarming. I once had an under eye filler and it came out ok, but after a few days I could tell that she overdid it on one side. I knew it would subside so I didn't go back to reduce it. The last session I had dysport and it didn't last very long and seems diluted. I paid over $500 for botox also for TMJ and it also felt very diluted. But I've been here othertimes and it's been effective and long lasting.
Maybe it's just a 'feeling', but it seems like this is a clinic where injectors pay for a 'seat' - similar to a hair salon. There's a high turnover and number of injectors, but rarely do I see more than 2 people working here.
The other odd thing is the fact that some of their 5 star reviews are literally within hours of each other, suggesting they are fakes. So be sure to actually go through all the reviews before you decide.
Will I go here again? Probably. But it's been about 2 years because I've been trying other spots. The price is right, and it's close to me and i've never had a less than 3 star experience whereas I've gone to elite places in Beverly Hills and had horrible experience..... but I do take a chance when I go to NYC Rejuvenation. I risk either feeling unwelcome (literally been coming here for like 7 years and they look at you like you're an annoyance versus a client), or feeling taken care of. I risk either spending too much money for something I was talked into or getting an injection that dissipates a month later. It's always a risk, but I suppose we choose our battles.
I suggest you call and really do your research for the most experienced injector. Ask to see their license maybe, and be sure to watch them unwrap the botox/dysport so you know it's not diluted. Just do your due diligence. And don't bother trying to be nice to the receptionist - I guess she just doesn't like her job and it's everyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm now currently 6 months 'post up' from having my lip lift procedure. I have been using lip fillers as an enhancement now for the past 10 years. I started to notice that my lips looked fuller on one side compared to the other. I decided to discuss the situation with a friend regarding finding a solution, and she told me about the 'lip lift' procedure. So I started to look into it. I have to admit I was was scared at first of the possible scarring. That's when I came across NYC Rejuvenation Clinic
This to me looked and sounded great and just what I wanted. I immediately made an appointment to see him. We first discussed that I needed to dissolve the filler in the lip, wait two weeks and then we could go ahead and do the lift. The first step went great, the uneven fuller dissolved immediately, and caused me no problems at all.
I was now ready to have the procedure and was excited and felt very confident and at ease about having it done! The lip lift took around 30-45 minutes and I didn't feel anything after we injected the numbing solution.
My lips were pretty swollen and sore for the first few days, which I was advised was to be expected. After five days the stitches were then removed. I was really impressed visually with how clean and neat the incisions were. The incisions are not noticeable at all now at 6 months. I'm overall extremely happy with how everything went and I keep getting complimented on how much more natural, nice and well proportioned my face/lips look. Having this procedure also now means that I don't need to have lip fillers injected, which has made life a lot easier as I don't feel as if I need to keep up or worry about having them topped up or having un-even results as I previously had trouble with.
I was made to feel extremely comfortable and at ease, all my questions were answered and everything was explained throughout, so that I felt confident and understood what was being done during every step of...
