Carvel Ice Cream and Bakery — Restaurant in New York

I’m not a big fan of ice cream but I had a craving for vanilla Ice cream one day and the other night was a birthday cake for my boyfriend. The scooped ice cream was so good but they put a bit too much of the caramel topping that it just became a caramel mess. My boyfriend loved his Oreo cookie sundae dasher as always! The cake was pretty good and the cashier who helped us did a great job with making the Y like in the New York Yankees. She practiced on a paper and then did a great job on the cake. Sucks I didn’t get her name but I do remember she was a young girl with blonde hair if that helps lol. I would def suggest the owner to provide the football design of the birthday cake cause that’s what I was originally looking for but that’s okay because the end result was the birthday boy being happy with his favorite cake!...

very disrespectful worker... i was looking at the cakes and moved some around to get the one I wanted, worker came extremely close to me to tell me not to take out the cakes, how can someone pick the cake they want? He begin to questioned me and give me attitude... i ask for his name and he refused and laughed... i told him its because of the they he treated a customer he lost a sale... thats ok because i took my 90 dollars that I was going to waste on 2 cakes somewhere else.... he then continue to talk about me as I walked out the store... what customer service? Absolutely Rude and disrespectful worker... you want to welcome someone in your store and get them to buy as much as possible and knowing me I probably wouldve spent more... but too bad for them because I will make sure that nor I or my family and friends...

I have been going in there weekly for a few months to get half passion-fruit sorbet and half another flavour. Today I tried a sample of two flavours and didn't like. I asked for another and they said I cannot sample more than 2 flavours. I said I am in here weekly can I try one more flavour he said NO. I then ask for a large cup and asked if they can put the 2 flavours side by side opposed to one on top of the other. He said NO. So I left and will NOT return. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS SO DANGEROUS. YOU CAN GET ICE REAM ANYWHERE I REFUSE TO SPEND MY MONEY TO BE TREATED HORRIBLE. PLUS THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS ROUGH ITS NOT WORTH...
