China Garden — Restaurant in New York

I walked in this establishment with a taste as a memory. The last time frequented this Chinese restaurant was before covid. I remembered that they HAD by far the best steam shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce. OMG, not anymore!!!! When I walked in it looked as thought the people In the restaurant where eating eggs! Yes! I said eggs. It looked like quail eggs with there hands ( first sign for me to run ). Touching there mouth ... preparing food. I do not remember seeing anyone wash there hands. Answering the phone order( 2nd sign for me to run). I wanted that taste.. I should of ran.

I retrieved my order and proceeded back home. While walking there was s foul smell of seafood . I began sniffing everything around me like I was a hound dog. Only to find that it was the food from the store that has the smell.

When I received home. I wash my hands pull out a paper plate and took out a sample of the food that i just ordered it was disgusting. The garlic sauce had a mildew after taste that make me throw up. I just could not eat it . I tossed everything I. The garbage. I was so f.....king disappointed ....

I've Lived In This Neighborhood For Many Years But Never Tried This Restaurant Since They Are Take Out Only But Since Delivery Is Possible Now This Restaurant Is The Best Experience I've Had Since The Pandemic Started!!! I Hate Spending My Money To Regret It Once I Get My Order Because The Establishment's Food Sucks!!! At China Garden You Get Quality Food That Is Pleasing To The Eye, Taste Well Seasoned And Fresh!!! I ordered Beef & Broccoli with fried rice Tuesday (3/28/23) afternoon, I got home and began to eat. Suddenly, there was a sour taste in the meat. As I examined the beef, there was a slimy film coming from it. The smell was of rotting meat. I returned to the restaurant and tried explaining the situation to the female employee. Not only was she unprofessional, but she also decided to man handle the food as she cooked it. I humbly asked for a refund, and she refused. After an extended period of being unprofessional, she finally returned the funds. Please be cautious when ordering...
