-Ambiance is dark (I love that ) -Open kitchen -Temperature check not taken however they do ask for your contact information -Bathroom appeared to be clean but needs paper towels since blow dryers are not recommend to use after washing hands. -Sanitizer in pump form was located on tables for patron use The restaurant was not crowded however the temperature was cold 🥶. I had to leave my coat 🧥 on since it was not warm I had the kimchi fried rice but to my surprise it was of wet texture and somewhat sweet. The pork bits that were mixed in didn't taste flavorful The rock shrimp are baby size deep fried 🍤 covered in a mayo sauce. I suggest you ask for the sauce on the side. The shrimp shumai was good. The fried chicken was exceptional. My past experiences with Korean fried chicken 🍗 was the inside not being properly cooked. Chingoo DOES NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. Also the chicken is not smothered in sauce My friend had the bimbimbap- lunch special- which she enjoyed

Perpetually my favorite place in the neighborhood to eat. The same folks are always waiting tables there and always friendly. There’s light background music but I can hear folks next to me. The lunch specials are well priced at $13 a piece and absolutely filling. The mandoo are shockingly fresh and only cost $8. The bao are fire. The japche is fire. Can’t go wrong with the bibimbap. The kimchi jjigae is luscious. The bulgogi jeongol is hearty. The spicy creamy udon is basically carbonara with kimchi and fried shrimp. Extremely pleased that this is one of the last restaurants in Brooklyn that includes a freebie, in this case it’s fab kimchi with your meal. RIP chips and salsa and bread and butter. I’m so jaded. Everything here tastes good, so pick literally anything on the menu and enjoy.

ChinGoo restaurant is awesome! Let me first say that I absolutely love Korean cuisine ever since my three tours to the Korean peninsula. During my search for Korean cuisine ChinGoo was the closest with great ratings, so I decided to give their establishment a try. I am glad I did. Their customer service was exceptional. Speed of service, a courteous response and attention to detail made it a pleasant experience. I had ordered bulgogi, kimchi, wht rice and hot jasmine tea. It was so good an authentic that it reminded me of my very first experience in TDC Korea. The establishment was clean with a cozy feel. The water even taste great and that a plus. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially for those who love Korean cuisine as much as I do.

I’ve heard great things about this restaurant and a friend told me she ordered all of her pandemic meals from here. Finally got to visit to have dinner with a friend. Sat indoors by the front windows. She had a bibimbap and I had Jeyuk Kimchi Bokum. Really good food! Nice and quiet to have conversation. We stayed until closing and the server and chef (maybe the owners?) were at the front and asked us where we live/ are from. I grew up in flushing, queens and the chef said they live in bayside. Had a nice chat with them about when they started this business, right before the pandemic and how they lost some of their local customers because people moved out of the neighborhood but business was starting to pick back up with new people. They told me they would hook us up next time we came and I hope to bring more of my friends here to enjoy a full korean meal together! Please support this business if you can. They care about their customers...

Overpriced and poor quality ingredients. I had the pork mandoo and tofu & veggie japchae.

Mandoo was pan fried, the pork filling had minimal flavor save for chive and onion. Dumpling wrap was cold in its extremities, not sure if it had been sitting out or was not thoroughly heated.

Japchae was very oily and had no integrated flavor. The stir fried tofu tasted of unflavored tofu and oil, but had a completely different taste than the rest of the dish. Noodles of the japchae were not bad, had a good chewy consistency and sweetness you'd expect but their flavor was just overwhelmed by the oil they were slathered in.

Received none of the typical side dishes you get at the majority of Korean restaurants. Only somewhat dry and barely spiced kimchi with the entree.

They seem to get a lot of deliveries. Service was prompt and polite, so no...
