We had a fantastic experience with Be You Dance Studio! Katarina was patient, encouraging, and always working to make us feel comfortable and prepared for our big day. She provided us with clear, concise instruction and tailored her teaching style to our individual needs and learning styles. We worked with Katarina for our first dance at our wedding and we had such a fun time with her. I was a little nervous about dancing in front of a crowd and she was so great about reassuring me and giving us moves that we felt excited about! She was awesome with our vision from the beginning: We explained that we wanted to switch up who would lead vs follow as a queer couple, that we wanted a fun but not too cheesy dance routine, and that we wanted moves we could use in the future too. She was awesome and knocked it out of the park with all of these requests! She even let my parents come for our last session so they could be more comfortable with their dancing as well. My new husband and I cannot recommend working with Katarina more strongly! She is kind, professional, committed, and flexible. When we first met her, she taught us the basics of dancing, and after 11 lessons, we had an incredible choreographed dance for our first dance as a newly married couple! My husband and I have zero dance experience, and actually quite disliked dancing at weddings and events, so we were nervous starting lessons and weren't sure what to expect. At every step of the way, Katarina offered her expertise, reviewed steps that were confusing for us, and really was such an excellent teacher.
