Genuinely, this was one of the worst meals I’ve had, ever. I’m not usually one to leave a review and especially not a negative one. But I truly hope the owner/managers/whoever is making executive decisions at this place will do better, because I attribute the bad experience I had to them.

First the positive: incredible views, good music, a yummy glass of cava. If you are meeting up with friends to hang out and drink and don’t mind waiting you’ll probably have a good time.

Now for the negative: My sister made a reservation 2 or 3 weeks ago. We realized we’d be five minutes late, called and texted to let the restaurant know, and even got a text back. But when we got there, we waited 10-15 minutes to be seated and no exaggeration, once we sat down (at a table with two menus but four silverware sets for three people) we sat for about twenty minutes without a server ever coming to our table. Eventually we let the host know and a server arrived about five minutes later.

Considering the number of tables and seats in that place, the number of servers and other employees was extremely low. It seems clear that they have not hired the number of people necessary for the restaurant to run well — everyone seemed overworked and stressed. No one I interacted with was unkind — just clearly exhausted.

On to the food. The starters we ordered — tuna tartare and brussels sprouts — were fine and gave me false confidence for the main meal ahead. I’ll place some blame on myself here — Im lactose intolerant, and asked for my dish, which involved bucatini and seafood, to be made without the usual parmesan and butter. I was totally prepared for a no and had a backup order in case of that. But I was told yes, which was great. Except that what arrived was less a pasta dish and more a seafood broth with the requisite seafood, overcooked bucatini and some onions and tomato in it. For $27!!!!!! There was so much liquid! Like so much. I literally had to drink it from the plate to get any flavor. I was and still am blown away. Obviously we also waited 30-45 minutes before we got our apps and around 30 before our meals arrived. My mom’s poke bowl featured an unripe avocado and went unfinished, and my sister described her burrata-stone fruit salad as “Mid.”

Overall, it seems like whoever opened this place made a big real estate investment with the intention of spending as little money on anything that would result in a pleasant experience, in hopes that the views would do all the work for them and to hell with the employees suffering for it. And considering how busy it is, I guess...

I really wanted to like this place as the ambiance is really lovely, however, the food was just below average for Manhattan prices !

Firstly, just know if you want to site outside its self-service. You have to order your own food and drinks from the bar. We opted out of this and sat under the patio. Which was not what we had in mind as we wanted to enjoy the first warm sunny day of spring.

FOOD: To start the menu is very basic. Cheese sharing platter is hands down the WORST cheese platter I have ever had. I make a better cheese platter with food from publix. The bread that came with it was a stale raisin bread (TERRIBLE). The brie tasted like it was spoiled, it was inedible, I was worried it would give me food poisoning. The only edible things on the platter were some of the grapes and the toasted nuts. I wish this was it but there more bad news, I got the shrimp avo toast, which was served on a stale baguette. Not sure why all their bread is stale. My friend had the french toast which was actually the best thing we had. Though nothing to write home about or to go back for.

DRINKS: The only serve wine from their vineyard, so the selection is extremely limited. I had a Chardonnay which was good enough, nothing special. My friend ordered a home-made bitters soda which was terrible. We had to send it back, to which the waitress said that most people don't like that drink ! Like WHAT I have never in my life heard a waitress say that about something on the menu. Like please help yourselves and remove things from the menu your staff know people don't like !

SERVICE: All the staff were super friendly and attentive, the drink was taken back and a new one suggested and served, so that was nice. However, I thought they should have offered to remove the cheese platter from the bill as we simply did not eat it.

All in all its a total miss for me, save your money yall !

And as usual,

Happy experiences to all !

(PS I forgot to mention that we made a reservation and when we got there, there was no record of our reservation, even though we had confirmation on our...

Could have been better . Food was great, but the service was very poor. Friday afternoon around 2 PM Me and my friend went up to the rooftop area. The bartender Brittany ( Not sure if I got the right name, but it’s the girl with medium length curly hair) was chatting it up with all the other other customers except me and my friend which fine whatever.

I wanted something light so I ordered fries nothing else and as I was paying, Brittany was watching me while I was trying to select if I wanted to do a tip or not which I didn’t because I just got fries it’s not like I ordered more stuff . My friend ordered more than me. I didn’t like that she was looking while I was deciding if I wanted to tip or not, but I just brushed it off

After a while, I got thirsty, so I went to go buy a drink. again Brittany was flirting and Very friendly with the other people ordering at the bar while I was waiting . When she got to me, I just ordered and she quickly made it in silence . I had all the intentions of giving her a tip when I got up to go order , but I didn’t like the fact that I felt like I was being treated differently. I know I was being treated differently because the guy after me she became very chatty again . It’s not like I walked up to her with a straight face I smiled and was like “hey again I would like … “

When it was time to pay, I clicked no tip and she looked me dead in my eye and said “ Is something wrong with the service you didn’t tip “ Which number one is a no no because why are you asking someone why they didn’t tip? I had a long day prior, so I didn’t really want to get into anything so I just said sorry . She was going on saying “you have to tip bartenders” . First of all, I don’t have to tip you you’re doing your job. A tip is based off of how your service was and your service was poor Brittany.

I never in my life had someone asked me why I didn’t tip maybe because the service that you gave me was poor and you treated me and my friend differently than everybody else at that rooftop bar.

Food was good, but I definitely will be going and staying inside the restaurant because the hostess and servers were much...
