Ive always enjoyed this bar as a casual hangout to chat with friends. And we’ve always enjoyed the staff. But recently the manager — or maybe it was the bar tender, kind of a big guy with mustache— got weirdly hostile over the most minor issue. My friend had complained that the bar back had taken his drink (had 1/4th left) while scooping up a couple other empties. Simple mistake, and my friend just went to fetch the drink back. Wasn’t hostile to the bar back at all. The mustachioed dude came out of nowhere in a full rage and told him he had to leave. It was an incredible 0 to 60 over-reaction. For my part, I had said literally nothing and wasn’t involved in any way — I was 30 feet away back at our corner table— and he threw us both out.

We are two pretty mild mannered older 50s men, who sat quietly talking in the corner for a couple hours — not loiterers, we bought 2 or three rounds of beer — not making any commotion at all. I’ve never been kicked out of any establishment ever! Maybe just an off night, but not a cool way to treat a customer who politely brought up a...

Big burley guy at the bar is violant and disturbed. Id been here before and seemed nice but today ii just went in to use the restroom because it was an emergency and it was the closest place to me. I thanked him on the way out and he told me if I ever did that again he would chase me out with a baseball bat..... Ok..... I don't understand why he took my BM so personally. . This is why new yorkers ar seen as rude and nasty . . No where else in the civilized world is that acceptable behavior to threaten a patron and of all reasons for using a restroom? Get over yourself . I was so shocked I didn't even know how to respond . I thought he was going to shake me up for the few bucks I had on me when he was going on and on how I should "throw some bucks to the bar" for using his previous bathroom....

Been here many times a long time ago so I decided to comeback. Service was good at first. Crowd seemed friendly enough. I ordered to drinks , tipped well, and made conversation about a dog in the bar. Everything seemed okay. Then I grab a slice of pizza and come back only to be told that I'm cut off. Because I was "behaving erratically and roaming the bar". I have a neurological disorder that causes me to twitch sometimes. Also I was "roaming around" trying to find an outlet to charge my phone. This bar will never get my business again. If it were worth my time I would file a suit for discrimiation. But I might change my mind. Because I don't want this happening to anyone else with...

Met some friends here. Divey, but with a surprisingly good beer menu. They also have some non-beer options for the non-beer drinkers you bring with you. Apparently there is mario kart, but did not ask about how to play. Draft prices are great. Bottles/Cans perhaps a little high, but they have a business to run. Relatively spacious, but can get crowded. There are some couches in the back. Just make sure you don't need to do anything beyond a #1 in the bathroom, lol.

Laid back atmosphere with clean tap lines. Perfect to enjoy great craft beers. They don't serve food. The staff encourages you to have good delivered. They even have menus of nearby places that you can peruse. The patio is currently closed due to an issue with their neighbors. Hopefully, the patio will be open in Dec. Fingers crossed.

Best craft beer bar in NY! Mecca for beer aficionados. Incredible local and internal options that are out of this world. I come here for the selection and the bartenders’ amazing recommendations. I’m not a big beer drinker, so I always go for the SUNBOY spiked coconut water.
