From the moment I placed my catering order with Da Nonna Rosa for my baby shower, I was met with impeccable service that made my special day all the more memorable. Handling my requests with the utmost flexibility, they accommodated several adjustments to my order without hesitation. On the day of the event, punctuality was at its finest; the food was delivered right on schedule, steaming hot and ready to be savored.
The portion sizes were generous, striking the perfect balance for our guests, who were delighted by the hearty servings. Each dish was a hit, but the meat lasagna and veggie lasagna, in particular, stood out with their rich flavors and comforting, home-cooked feel. The chicken parmesan was another crowd-pleaser, with its perfectly breaded exterior and succulent chicken. The freshness of the salad provided a crisp, light counterpoint to the hearty mains, and the garlic bread was the epitome of garlicky, buttery perfection, serving as the ideal complement to our Italian feast.
I would heartily recommend Da Nonna Rosa to anyone in search of top-notch Italian catering. Their dedication to quality and service has firmly established them as my go-to choice for any future events. Whether you're organizing a small gathering or a large celebration, Da Nonna Rosa's catering is sure to leave your guests with a delightful...
Read moreThis place is incredibly delicious, reasonably priced, and above all, kind and professional (and read on to see why).
My daughter was diagnosed with autism about a year and a half ago. This place was already her favorite restaurant, as she remembered her second birthday being here (it is also where I had her baby shower, the night before Hurricane Sandy, I will never forget). It became the only place that I could take her as she got a little older so we were there weeks at a time, every Tuesday or Wednesday. The autism presented itself more and more. Prior to her therapies, it was hard to be out with her, as she would meltdown and become overwhelmed.
She has broken a dish or three (or five?) at Da Nonna Rosa. She has eaten too fast and made herself sick. She has screamed her head off for a half an hour when it was too busy for her on Christmas Eve. The people at this restaurant have never questioned, raised an eyebrow, complained, or scowled at us. My family is grateful for them. It has gotten harder to get there with school and activities but we still plan on going for her 5th birthday (and we were sure to go on my 30th birthday this past August). And as many times in between and after. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You made a very different time in our lives a little easier to...
Read moreI usually don’t do this, but let’s get one thing straight. This one star rating is not because of their food. Their food is honestly amazing but the other day (Saturday November 19, 2022@ 12PM) I went to this restaurant for a slice. I totally forgot to tell the Hispanic guy with glasses to cut my slice in half and boy I don’t know why I did that he had the biggest attitude because the slice was already packed and he had to take it out to cut it of me. First of all, I spent my money so I should not be receiving any kind of attitude just because I forgot to mention to him to cut the slice in half. And let’s not even talk about the cashier, This cashier (Hispanic young lady with glasses) had the audacity to laugh about my complain. I was in complete shock. This has NEVER happened to me before at this restaurant. I have spent a lot of money eating at this restaurant with my family because the food is just that amazing but these employees that I dealt with on Saturday November 19, 2022 @ 12 PM should not be here working in this kind of neighborhood (park slope location). And yes, I will continue to support this restaurant, but I’ll just deal with the owners who are very pleasant to deal with every time I go. I will not be dealing with the employees that I dealt with on Saturday...
