Overall I have had decent experiences at Park Slope Copy Shop. The positive ones usually make up for the negative ones. However, this last experience really ruined things.
Three - four weeks ago I got a small print order done, they were able to do it same day and was less than $9 before tax. Super great and easy experience and the employee was kind and nice.
This week I went back to get the same order and the only difference was the images but size, card stock, and everything else was the same. Different employee, employee B says that my order needed to be put in through the website but they guess they could help me in shop. Then when we’re going through the specifics they said they couldn’t do it and if they did then the size would be different and I’d have to fix it myself. They dismissed me when I tried to say I got this exact order done by the shop earlier this month. I decided to not go through with the order and will take my business elsewhere. I just don’t understand how one employee was able to do my order perfectly and another employee is telling me they don’t...
Read moreJon and his team are just simply the best… They helped me print a large volume of booklets and worked with me to make sure they were exactly to my specifications. Everyone was so attentive to my project needs and all of my questions both in person and over the phone! Any time there was confusion about pricing, sizing, paper, etc, we worked it out quickly and easily.
I loved my first round of booklets so much that I ordered a second round — when there were a few printing errors, Jon personally took time out of his schedule (during the holiday season…!) to reprint and get my booklets to me on time. What an actual king.
Don’t hesitate to send your work here — such high quality printing and customer service. I was nervous about sending my personal artwork to be handled by someone else, and it feels so good to now know I can confidently rely on and support a local printing service.
I’ll definitely be returning with more projects in the future! Thank you Jon and park slope copy!...
Read moreUpdate: I heard from the owner, Jamie, who was very kind and understanding. He offered to source and reprint new envelopes for us, and let me know he would be personally involved in making sure they were done quickly and correctly.
I’m extremely disappointed by my experience with the park slope copy center. I dropped off 75 custom envelopes to have mailing address and return address printed on 62 of them. Turns out they wasted 24 of the stock on misprints, leaving me short 11 completed envelopes. I cannot understand what type of professional printing shop wastes 1/3 of the inventory they are provided. They discounted my incomplete order, but didn’t offer any solution to rectify that I would need to place another customer order of envelopes - and be out at least another 100 dollars. I would think twice before you bring anything important or of value to you...
