Desi Vegan — Restaurant in New York

I ordered the Vegetable Samosas (Vegan) from this Restaurant and had to Throw the entire order out due to the items not being wrapped and packaged properly. I love veggie Samosas and wanted to give this place a try however, the samosas arrived cold in a brown paper bag with no wrap or covering for product safety and the Sauces were just thrown in the brown bag on top of the food. This was very concerning to me as the sauces should have been placed inside of the plastic bag and not on top of the food. The Samosas should have also arrived hot or even warm being that my drop off delivery location was not that far from this Restaurant. Overall, I Give this Restaurant 2 out of 5 stars for attempting to fulfill my order request, but Not quite hitting the mark. Perhaps One day if I choose to order again at this restaurant in store in the future my experience...

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The host (Rafy) was very welcoming. He took my name and immediately checked for my order. While I waited (which was less than 3 minutes), he asked if I wanted to try any of their juices, I declined and instead he gifted me a spring roll on my way out…which was very tasty. :) About the food: I ordered a Tofu Masala roll, and garden salad. The food was delicious!!! I would definitely order from this restaurant again.. and already recommended it.

Please note, although the name of this establishment is Desi Vegan the store front had a different name “Tandoori Place”, but it’s one...

The food was beyond Amazing!!! I ordered Spicy Chili Tofu and when I tell you it was a 10 out of 10. The amount of spice, veggies and sauce was out of this world. It gave that Wow spicy but I just had to keep going back to it 😆. And Because in the pass it’s been hard for me to order for delivery Indian food without yogurt or dairy, I had to order Channa Masala and it did not fail me. If I wasn’t full I would have devoured it. Definitely...
