SuperFresh Castle Hill — Local services in New York

Some of the staff are very helpful and polite, while others act like highschool kids. Their sale items are almost NEVER available and the store shelves are consistently not filled. I will let the photos speak for themselves. The worst part is the sale items MANY times are not sale priced on the receipt. I will gladly change my review as soon as they tighten up. Key Food beats this particular Pioneer hands down.

Update 3/27/18 The store always had a problem posting the item prices on the shelves or on the actual product. Now it looks like they completely have stopped pricing. No prices on the milk, yogurt, or most of the eggs. The deli case was empty, coffee section almost bare empty. I really hope they get their act together. I see some of the young brothers trying to do their best with what is available, but in reality the corner bodega is better stocked and priced than this giant empty Pioneer Supermarket.

The place is now restocked and MUCH better. I wish them all the best and now give then 3 stars.

The place is almost empty...

Price of all products are higher than any other supermarket. Still I preferred to shop there because it is closest to my home. But their delivery service is horrible. Delivery person only speaks Spanish. He doesn’t speak or understand English. They delivered my groceries with frozen items after 3 hours of my purchase. It was earliest delivery after my several calls to the store. Even they told me within approximately 1 hour they will deliver when I was purchasing. After 1 and half hour later when I didn’t receive the delivery I called the store and they told me within 5 mints they will be delivering but they didn’t. I had to call again after half an hour because I was running late to go yo work because of this delivery. and then the lady who picked up the phone was rude and said, they can’t deliver before 1 pm. Later they delivered it at 12 pm . So the lady lied to me or just didn’t want to help or manage the situation. Anyway customer service is not...

Update 12/2024: I don't know what happened from review 1 to today but something is off, expired items, insanely overpriced (a milk thats $5.99 anywhere and everywhere is $9.99 here) 😳, the staff is busy chatting it up than ringing up.

This supermarket has been here for a bit of time, it's still relatively new. The service is great, the staff is always around to help The cashiers are always friendly. This day I went for a sandwich and it was delicious, so much I saved half for later. When you order a sandwich you get a free soda. You won't always get the same deli worker but so far I have not been disappointed by any. Best part YOU pick your bread.
