I'm not sure how this place has high rating. Let me tell u my honest review. I'm Muslim, my stylist that day, also Muslim + Bengali. I didn't know my own people would do me dirty & I paid good money for it too. My sister also went with me to get her hair cut and styled first time in yrs. We called this place asking if anyone can style long hair and the Bengali lady that answered said "yes we will cut how you want it" in Bengali. We went for the first time to cut our hair at a Bengali staff only salon 8pm. Me and my sister we both wear hijab so for privacy the lady who was on the phone with us she told her staff to take us to the basement to cut our hair when we walked into the salon. We went and that lady who was supposed to cut my hair had no knowledge of how to do front layers and cut 1 inches of hair in the back. My hair is super long so it was originally below my bum but she cut over 5-6 inches and it wasn't straight and my front layers were messed up. I was traumatized. I let someone cut my hair for the first time after growing it for 6-7 yrs and they didn't even wet my hair they just messed it up. I lost the motivation to even tie it up because I couldn't make a proper Bunn and my hair is still damaged. Oh and my sister's hair... Omg !! She noticed when she got back home. So when the lady was cutting my hair my sister went upstairs to do something important and I was alone with the staff. I was scared because I was already feeling in my gut that she was gonna mess up. And I didn't show my sister until later. I almost cried, like how can a hair stylist do that? If you not experienced then don't work on someone who is getting they hair done for the first time. Like I told the lady it was my first time and everything and I told her to be careful with it too. Ehhh. She messed up two clients hair. Me and my sister came back with our hair above our back like seriously it traumatized us. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, someone report them or take their license. Idk but they need to stop their business. This is a scam. Oh and one other red flag we ignored was the lady who picked up our call before we went to the salon she called us 15 times total in 45 mins to ask if we going or not. They were fishing for customers but service was ass. So don't go here if u got...
Read moreI came here today for a wash and blowout. An Indian woman welcomed me in and assured me she knew how to do hair. My first red flag was the way she washed my hair, and then the blowout was awful. She even tried to use a flat iron to "fix" it. At that point, I had to tell her that this was not a good blowout, and she didn’t seem to know what she was doing. She admitted that she didn’t know and said she would fix it with the flat iron, but she was parting large sections of hair, which can cause breakage. She kept answering phone calls. When I was leaving she was pointing at me talking in her native language to what seemed to be a friend.
When I pointed out that the blowout wasn’t good, she got upset. I told her she should have been honest about her skills instead of trying to take advantage of an empty salon for a quick cash-in. I was initially interested in more services, like eyebrows, but given the poor customer service and lack of experience, this will be my last visit to this salon. I had to go to another salon to fix...
Read moreI honestly don’t know how this place gets good reviews. When I came for the first time, the owner and the Indian lady welcomed me, and I clearly told them that my face is very sensitive. My first red flag was during my eyebrow service the lady was working extremely slowly, and it was painful. I mentioned my concern to the owner, but she just insisted the lady was doing a “good job.” By the end, they had clearly messed up my eyebrows and my face irritated my skin. They tried to cover it up and calm it with an ice cube, but the damage was done. The owner kept saying “sorry,” but that didn’t fix my face. When my husband saw me afterward, he was furious. I honestly don’t think this lady should be licensed, and this was definitely my last visit...
