The donut shop is nice and the donuts look very pleasing to the eye but they’re disgusting. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and the donut was overproofed, excessively yeasty, almost alcoholic, and the texture was aweful. I had to spit this one out. So let’s go over it. The initial look of the donut is 5 stars! People first eat with the eyes. When you cut into the donut there’s a big air pocket between the icing and the bread. The smell was off putting and very yeasty. The crumb was soft but not crumbly but flavorless. When you bite down into the a cut section you get the oversweet icing followed by the puking aroma of over proofed yeasty smell that turns your stomach. Please change the recipe. (I really hate to recommend this but there’s a Krispy Kreme on the corner to the left when you exit the restaurant).

We had big expectations of this donut shop especially because there are a few other places around in this neighborhood (including Krispy Creme and Dunkin). Dough donuts are below average. There is taste a lot of sugar, not a lot of flavor of the actual donut. We tried the new pistachio chocolate and blueberry lemon, and even tho they are quite big in size, the taste was off. Also, when we asked to enter the phone number to gain rewards with the cash app, the staff wasn't sure if they offer rewards via cash app, even tho the prompt to pay with it was presented on the POS. In this economy, it looks like they are not even trying to compete with others and gain profit

Sorry to say but this was a very disappointing donut. It was more like a thick, flavorless cake or something like white bread. The icing on the Passion fruit + Cocoa Nib Donut wasn't nearly enough icing to compete with this honking clump of flavorless bread. The icing on the Strawberry + Cherry Blossom Jam donut tasted like sugar. That being said the Cherry Blossom jam itself was amazing but could not resurrect this underwhelming experience. If this was a jam shop, I'd give it 5 stars. Also, $5+ for a donut is absurdly expensive so I'd expect it to be one of the best dessert experiences possible. The donuts look good and sound good but that's about it.

We ordered four donuts: one chocolate-covered, one with pumpkin glaze, one coated in sugar and cinnamon, and another glazed donut with chips on top. While the outside of each donut had unique flavors and textures, the inside was the same bland, tasteless dough for all of them. The donuts are like very thick round slice of bread with center cut out. This was very disappointing and the fact they were expensive made things even worse. It is surprising there is a large donut franchise that knows how to make donuts better than Dough.

To improve, they should use a better dough recipe and offer a variety of dough options, such as chocolate-flavored, pumpkin-flavored, gluten-free, etcetera. This would...

Overrated, over hyped, expensive but kosher. Go to Krispy Kreme if you are not orthodox jewish!

I tried Krispy Kreme and dough donuts. Dough lost hard, although Dough was priced at more than

The good: Nice service. Kosher and orthodox jewish friendly. Hyped.

The bad: The donuts are made with fairly poor quality ingredients. They may even be using cheap colorants, soybean oil, etc. The taste is not as good as it is hyped up to be. Nothing special really. Krispy Kreme was also less dry than Dough. The price is too high for regular donuts made with simple ingredients. The charged $5.50 for a donut that was less good, drier and of likely lower quality than Krispy Kreme's...
