If you're in New York City and craving something truly unique, look no further than the Burmese street food scene, particularly in Elmhurst, Queens. This neighborhood is a melting pot of cultures, and the Burmese offerings are a delicious testament to that diversity.

I recently visited a charming little spot near Rock Church and was absolutely blown away by my experience. One dish that stood out was the ginger mixed salad. OMG, it was hands down the best salad I've ever had! The combination of fresh veggies, zesty dressing, and that unmistakable kick of ginger was simply divine. I could eat that every day!

Then came the star of the show: the quail egg rice pancake balls, affectionately known as "mote lin myar," which translates to "husband and wife" – how cute is that? 😂 These little delights were crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. I couldn't get enough of them!

Let's not forget about the vermicelli noodles. They were perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the various toppings and sauces. Every bite was a burst of flavor that transported me straight to the streets of Myanmar.

The service at this place was unbeatable. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. And if you're looking for a drink, their hug potion shot is a must-try. It’s both fun and effective, leaving you with a warm and...

We really enjoyed everything and we’re glad to find out this amazing hidden gem in the area. Great food venture experience if you’ve never tried Burmese food!

The staff and host were so friendly and nice to introduce the dishes.

We tried: the Falafel (I love it! It’s in small pieces but So flavorful!) the Samosa (surprisingly good on the fillings) the Pancake (it has unique chewy texture with creamy flavor, not too sweet, would be a great companion to go with afternoon tea) Potato cutlets (lovely! crispy outside, soft tasty inside) Garlic oil Noodle chicken (my Fav! Never seen those noodles before, fun textures and well orchestrated flavors~ in one bowl, you have it all! - it’s not soupy, will go well with a drink or tea on their menu) Vermicelli chicken (relatively lighter than the noodles, I like the chunky chickens in this bowl, and the vermicelli just keep soaking in all the juice from the chicken lol just can’t stop taking another bite 😋)

Would definitely revisit!

Location-wise: Easy! very close to the subway station; has parking spaces around as well!

So Highly recommend!...

It’s been 2 years since I last had authentic Burmese food, and I’m so happy I found this gem spot in NYC! It’s incredibly hard to find real Burmese snack foods around here, and this place brought back all the flavors and memories I’ve been missing. The Rice Noodle Salad(Nann Gyi Thote) is absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. And the Rice Pancake Balls…omg, I’ve been craving that unique taste and smell for years. One bite took me right back! The Burmese Traditional Pancake is chef kiss with the smell you can’t stop eating. Highly recommend trying it while it’s still hot!! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming just like you’d expect from a Burmese spot. The owners are friendly and even willing to adjust dishes to your taste, which made the whole exp feel so personal. If you’re missing home or curious about Burmese street food, this place is...

Eaterniti was fantastic! The food was delicious, and they have a fun selection of Burmese street food appetizers. We tried the potato cutlet, the Burmese falafel, the spring rolls, and the rice pancake balls. None of those disappointed, each one was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Also worth noting how vegetarian-friendly the appetizers are. Even as someone who is not vegetarian, I found myself completely satisfied and amazed by the rich flavors. Highly recommend this place for a unique and tasty meal! Also there's an Anda Boba tea that's part of Eaterniti, and the large drinks at Anda come in a small bucket-size container, it's truly a LOT of drink.
