For a large company you would think they would have there operations in order. Well not with this Starbucks. From the moment we walked into this starbucks I could tell it was a bit disorganized. The sign said one thing but the staff was doing another. A worker took our order before we paid. We were then given the drink and no one asked for money. Rather than walk out with a free drink we did the honest thing and made an attempt to pay for our drink. At this point a girl (possibly a supervisor) raised her voice and told us to get in line. I said I would like to pay for the drink we recieved. No one was responding. I put 5 dollars on the counter and said I'd like to just pay for our drink. They couldn't agree on the price of the drink and the employees seemed confused. At some point they said 4 dollars and change. I left the 5 and for some reason even left a dollar tip. I guess that's just my good spirit. Anyway. I left there feeling that the employees there are either over worked or poorly trained. I am definitely not coming back to this Starbucks location. Read moreI just went to this Starbucks to purchase 34 $25 gift cards. (I went to a Starbucks in Babylon yesterday and bought 60 $25 gift cards. I did not feel valued at all). This Starbucks at Horace Harding, could not have been better. From the moment I walked in and asked for these gift cards, I felt that my purchase meant something. The staff and manager, Stephan, could not have been better. The cashier not only was super enthused, but he made my $850 purchase seem like a big deal. The manager offered an iced coffee as a thank you for my business. The manager also thanked me for coming in to make my purchase at a slow time of day (3 pm) rather than when they are much busier. I relayed that I timed my purchase so it would not slow down other customers in their busiest times. The cashier even took a photo of the final bill to post on InstaGram. These are not big things in and of themselves -- offering an iced coffee or taking a picture of the bill to post on InstGram because he had never rung up that large a transaction before -- but in the grand scheme of things, I felt the team at this Starbucks really valued my purchase. Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with a recent order I placed through the Starbucks app. I ordered an Iced Shaken Espresso with caramel drizzle and soy milk, but when I received my drink, the caramel drizzle was missing.
I had made sure to select the caramel drizzle option when customizing my drink, and I was disappointed to see that the barista did not add it to my drink, despite it being clearly noted on the cup. To make matters worse, Starbucks charges extra for customizations, so it’s frustrating to not receive the full product as ordered.
Given that Starbucks is known for its high-quality service, I was expecting better attention to detail and consistency. As a loyal customer, I find this experience disappointing, especially considering the premium price of Starbucks beverages.
