We had chosen your place to enjoy a beer after work with a friend. Later, a few more friends joined us, and we briefly took a moment to decide our next steps. During that time, the floor manager approached us rudely, seemingly annoyed that we hadn’t immediately waited to be seated.
Ultimately, we decided to stay at the bar. When some of us were ready to leave, I asked to pay for myself and the friends I was originally with. I was told that I could either pay for the entire bill or half of it — a surprising and unreasonable policy.
Despite the poor service, we paid the full amount and still left a 5% tip. However, the floor manager followed me outside, touched me on the shoulder, and said the tip was an “insult” before walking away. I responded that her attitude and behavior were the real insult. No one is obligated to tip for rude or dismissive service, and if that’s how you treat customers, it’s difficult to see why anyone would feel inclined to reward it.
I hope you understand that this kind of toxic attitude only harms your business.

Read moreGood food, good drink. Sometimes that's all you need, sometimes that's all you want, and Forgetmenot easily fulfills both needs and wants, and at good prices too. The DIY decor - which the co-owner/chef/bartender will be more than happy to walk you through - provides a perfect back drop for enjoying a beer (from the tap, bottle or can) and some very well-prepared snacks and bar food. The Mediterranean-based menu is worth checking out from top to bottom, but don't overlook the fish tacos. The vibe is casual and welcoming, and lingering over your plate of house-made Sweet Potato Chips and a Tecate won't prompt an Evil Eye from the staff. And if the owners happen to look familiar to you, you most likely remember them from their days of serving gyros and Greek fries from the...
Read moreIt's a charming local spot. The food and drinks are good, but I don't think it's a spot designed to blow you away with it's food. It's a place for locals to retreat to and they really focus on creating a community albeit, it seems mostly for transplants.
You can't go wrong with the staff, which is probably the heart and sole of the place. Our main interaction was from Lore and the folks in the front greeting and saying farewell. Overall it's a good combination.
The pics are probably poor quality because I'm not pretending to be a photographer, and it was relatively dark. However, I want to come back in the day time because there's a large skylight that would really show off the interior when there's sunlight...
