Fort Tryon Grill — Restaurant in New York

The man who makes the sandwiches, is sooo nice 10/10. The man who works the counter and makes the drinks -1000/10. Everytime I come here I get the same thing, a Tasty Green smoothie. Every time I come the man at the counter acts like he doesn’t see me. And takes the longest time to even acknowledge I’m standing there. Today I came in with a child I work with and two of their friends. Since I know the man at the counter likes to flat out ignore me, the children ordered their food and I said “hey can I order a smoothie.” The man at the counter is writing something and says, “after the children.” Okay, fair, reasonable, the children pay for their stuff, the man at the counter goes back to his task doesn’t say a word. Another customer comes in, gets something, goes to the counter, is cashed out. Still not a word or glance is given my way, just goes right back to whatever he was doing. The children’s food is finished and they’re ready to go. Still nothing. I’m not expecting Disney on ice in this two by four store but the service sucks.

This place has fantastic smoothies! I've tried many and they've all been great. I've had quite a few of their deli items as well and so far they've also all been great. It can get a little busy right around lunch time, but that's to be expected. The snack selection is extremely large, and they also have ice cream. All in all, great place to stop in for...

Really amazing local spot with some of the friendliest staff around. I live across the street, and find myself hopping in and out of this deli on a regular basis to grab odds and ends.
