A Great Cut Of Pizza Close To Central Park ! Pizza Foodies need to flock here! We ate a lot of pizza on the NYC trip and Francesco's hands down is the unrivaled Master for taste, texture, crust, options and price! Considering it's location and what the prices could be, and what they really are, it just can't be beat. I would have paid more because it was just yummy. Definitely the NYC pizza we had been seeking all week and found it on the last day. We also had the nicest server, she was kind, and explained everything, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time, and just that was more than awesome as some of our dining experiences were not even close to that in 'fine dining' experiences that week! Thank you, and sorry I can't remember her name! Just a note: I would NEVER order a full pizza with all the possible glass case options to heat and eat. Try a many rather than just one pie! The ONLY regret I have is that I didn't get a dough knot but I was so full! 1 Weird thing: I won't delete stars but, the bathroom had a sign on it, "out of order' I just wanted to wash my hands after 2 hours of walking and subway riding. I went to walk away, and the one employee told me I could use it. ODD that it was out of order but it was usable? Maybe it is some NYC thing to make those walking in not use their toilet? IDK? But the pizza exceeded my expectations especially at the price point. A foodie pizza find in NYC, away from all the normal chaos and so good I'd go again and again! Worth the cab, or subway ride no matter where you are!

Came in on a Monday night around 7pm. Glad they have seating here. About half the tables were taken already. Paid $2.90 for a cheese slice. Couldn't pay with credit card cause there is a $10 minimum. The cashier wasn't attentive. Had to get her attention to get my order and again to take my cash to pay for it. The pizza was ok. Didn't have much flavor. Edible but I needed to add seasonings to it to make it more decent. Crust was crisp which was good but also seemed like not the typical fresh homemade crust I'm used to in most pizzerias.

Zero for customer service. I had a really bad experience at this place. I went there a couple of nights ago. As soon as I walked in, the gentlement behind the counter asked me for my order. I asked him for a salad, then he proceeded to ask me “to stay or to go”. I said to stay so he said “ok, have a sit”. A few minutes after sitting down, the waitress came to my table and asked me for my order, so I said “I ordered already” and pointed to the counter (since I had placed my order at the counter). Well, 20min go by, so I walked up to the counter and told them that if it wasn’t too late already, I’d prefer to take the food to go because I couldn’t wait any longer. Mind you, I wasn’t upset at all. As I turned around to put my coat on, the waitress approached me in front of everyone in the restaurant literally screaming that “this was [my] fault”. That was literally the first words that came out of her mouth. I stood there perplexed not even knowing what she was referring to. She proceeded to say the food order was never placed, and it was my fault because she had asked me if I wanted to order, and I said I had already ordered. The waitress was so upset, and just blamed me for the whole thing. Apparently, pizza orders are taken at the counter, while everything else has to be ordered with the waitress if it’s to stay. Fine, I don’t have a problem with that. What I didn’t appreciate was the lack of customer service and just manners altogether. First of all, I don’t work there, THEY DO. Im not supposed to know your workflow. As soon as I ordered a salad, the man behind the counter (who took my order)was supposed to tell me to place my order at the table and NOT with him. Second of all, the staff wasn’t busy at all including the waitress. If you’re a waitress and a customer says to you they already ordered and 20min go by and there’s no sign of food coming their way, wouldn’t you inquire with the kitchen staff considering that the place is so small? And finally, manners and customer service go a long way. Never start a conversation blaming the customer. I’m a business owner myself and I was just perplexed by the waitress’ approach and mannerism. Mind you I wasn’t even upset and I wasn’t even looking for an apology. Sh*t happens I get it. But the professionalism was certainly lacking. I hope management takes notes. Your staff needs a customer...

1 star review!!! Mainly based on customer service. Long story. Went with wife and friend. Ordered calamari...pretty good. Wife and I decided to split a dish so ordered bolognese sauce pasta. Came with peas mixed in. ..weird, but I should probably have known that somehow. So talked my friend into 1/3 or his alfredo sauce pasta (he was hungry so not to happy about that). Went to put parmesan cheese and on the 3rd shake the lid came off and the full container's amount of parmesan covered my entire plate. I let the waitress know and she was apologetic...until I asked if I could get that 1/3rd plate of alfredo replaced (my friend was fork deep into his portion). She asked the manager than informed me it was not their fault the lid was loose. I asked her how I would know that and she just said that they always kept the lids tight. I informed her that didn't obviously happen this time and she reiterated that it wasn't their fault so they would not replace that small portion of pasta. When I let her know that we just moved to the neighborhood and were hoping this would be our neighborhood go to place but we wouldn't be coming back based on their customer service, she informed me that they had been there 19 years and had plenty of neighbors going there (in other words didn't care). I then asked for the tab, paid in full, including tip, and we all walked out. The only things I learned from this is that they have been there 19 years, didn't care much about my situation, and we would not be going back. Enter at...
