I love this place for two reasons: healthy food and a high funky factor. Everything on the menu is made with one's health in mind from the all-natural juices and smoothies to the large assortment of vegetable and meat wraps. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. The chicken had just enough buffalo spiciness and was baked, not fried. My friend tried the mango chicken wrap and was sampling it, it was just as delicious as my order. There are exotic healthy meats on their menu such as buffalo and ostrich meat. For drinks, I ordered a berry acai smoothie. It was very tasty and filling and made from several fruits such as banana, acai, berries, and apples. For two people, my total order came out to $25. I thought that this was a very reasonable amount considering that all the food from this place is on the healthy side. I noticed that not one item on their menu was fried. I highly recommend this place for people who are health-conscious. For decor, the artist commissioned an artist years ago to fill up an entire wall from top to bottom with all kinds of cultural, political, and artistic relics found throughout American culture. The items are placed on the wall in a very random way and punctuated by a large array of colors throughout. For this, this place scores high points in both it's presentation and it's healthy food. If you are an artist who likes to eat healthy, then this place is for you.

I’ve tried to give Fuel multiple chances, but I’m officially done. Every single time I order from them, my food comes burned — not just slightly overcooked, but blackened and inedible. The fries are consistently charred, and the wrap is dry and burnt around the edges. I thought maybe it was a one-time mistake, but after several orders, it’s clear this is a pattern and not just bad luck. It’s really disappointing because I wanted to support a local spot, but the quality and consistency just aren’t there. For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least edible food. Until they start paying attention to how they prepare and send out orders, I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I just ordered the fuel combo salad from Fuel on grubhub. It arrived 30 mins ahead of schedule, but was wrong. The salad was missing the cranberries and walnuts, and for some reason had cucumbers added. On top of that, they barely gave me any dressing and the salad was bland. The Caribbean storm smoothie was good, but this salad was NOT worth it.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever experienced...

I recently had a terrible experience with this restaurant's customer service. Due to a mistake on my part, where I chose my job's address instead of my home's address for delivery. I asked if the food could be delivered to my apartment, which was just 10 minutes away from work, but the delivery person refused and TOLD ME TO CANCEL THE ORDER since he had many more deliveries to do. So I did.

I called the restaurant to explain the situation, but he blamed me "for canceling the order" and due to a communication misunderstanding, expected me to reorder after hanging up. When I reordered the next day, they canceled my order. Upon calling to understand why, I was told by the "manager" or whatever that guy is: "the boss canceled the order because you canceled your order yesterday." The disrespectful and childish attitude was unnecessary. Especially a meal worth less than $19! 😳 Yeah I made a mistake and when I tried to fix it, I was told otherwise.

Determined to resolve the issue, I went to the restaurant in person. Why? Because this place was my budget-friendly go to, and to understand this man's anger issues (nah I wanted to be able to get my food! Yes of course I was gonna pay for it) BUT Despite asking for "the boss," a different individual came out first saying that "the boss wasn't there today" and then after saying it was him, rudely blamed me for their loss, implying it was my fault they lost money and wasted food.

It's embarrassing and disappointing to see people who clearly lack customer service skills "managing" a business. Honestly, their food isn't even that great—just a budget-friendly option. They call most of their dishes "healthy" while using inflammatory oils to cook all their food, their ketchup/sauces have high fructose syrup so it is not healthy but still budget-friendly.

Long review but it was a lot. Hopefully this poor man learns to treat his customers with respect...

Ordered delivery over the phone. Guy who took my order was unfriendly and sounded upset that I was bothering him.

I ordered a falafel sandwich. What can I say? It was good. How could you screw up a falafel sandwich? At 5 bucks, a tad expensive.

My gf ordered vegetarian chili with grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was phenomenal. Basically no fat at all, with delicious grill marks and nicely flavored. The "chili" was nothing more than a plate of beans. No tomato, no garlic, nothing. It looked and tasted like they opened a can of beans and dumped the beans onto the plate.

I ordered a "popeye juice": broccoli, celery, parsley, spinach, cucumber. I'm certain it was watered down...tasted like rusty water.

Lastly, ordered a bison hot dog. It was delicious, but who wants to pay $2.40 for a hot dog? No mustard or sauerkraut . Just a shriveled up hot dog in a bun. Tasted good, but looked pathetic. And way too pricey.

Ordered again, and it was much better (6Sep08).

Meat pie (pizza with bison) was absolutely delicious. Very very thin crust. Bison meat was SO tasty! It was wonderful.

Piña Colada smoothie: Good.

Bison burger with air baked fries: Just simply stupendous. Great flavors! The bison was very beefy.

The guy on the phone was even a bit nicer (although still a little gruff), and delivery has a little to be desired: I ordered a smoothie, and it came without...
